Both Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerine are safe for inhalation. None have ever shown any adverse side effects as a compound in and of themselves.

There are, however, reported allergic reactions to Propylene Glycol. It is safe to assume that the same is true for Vegetable Glycerine, since everything on this planet can cause an allergic reaction in someone.

Vegetable Glycerine, on another hand, is the alternative most people switch to when they find themselves allergic to Propylene Glycol.

Aside from health concerns, PG delivers a stronger throat hit and more flavor than VG, while VG produces much more vapor.
