I know there are both a great many reasons and opinions regarding VG and PG (and the umpteen sources of either).

Mine is a bit simpler:
What's the difference between VG and PG *strictly* in terms of the goings on within the atty? Other than negative physical reactions to one or the other, are there solid reasons to use either?

I know it's vague. The only difference for me is that VG seems thicker and I can get it at the drug store--which marks me a pretty ignorant on the subject. Well, I suppose that I also know that a 1:1 mix of VG and tobacco-water is gross to vape (but I've done a good bit more reading since then).

thanks all!

If any suppliers are reading this:

What, then, makes PG the most popular base for e-liquids? I guess that's the question I meant to ask originally but for no good reason couldn't get it whittled down. I first thought it was price, but VG seems pretty cheap.

Are there big differences in temps either can with stand (maybe VG breaks down faster) or how long either lasts in the carts?
