Go to CVS and get Glycerin which is VG. Make sure it is 99.5% USP graded - I bought 6 oz (177ml) for around $5.50 including tax. This stuff is good and has a slightly sweet taste.
Does anyone know where I can get some cheap VG?
Are there any chinese suppliers( I find they are cheap)
Thank you everyone

He's in Australia and may not have a CVS.

Gelstyles, if you are looking for plain VG with no nicotine in it, then try a local pharmacy or a cooking and baking specialty store, or a craft store. Be sure it is food grade.

If you want it with nicotine, then many of the suppliers have it including the major ones in China. You just need to be sure that they will ship to your country. Good luck.

Good deal! For now though 6 oz seems more than enough when I want to add a little more vapor production to P.G. Don't go overboard on VG though - you can mess up flavored PG liquids easily by adding too much. I don't even add VG to the PG liquid I sell unless a customer requests it bc I found it really affects the taste.

I cut some flue cured PG 24mg I got from LiquidXpress in half with VG and it turned out good. Obviously the flavor was diluted a bit but not as much as you would think. I haven't tried any other brand of VG so I can't compare to anything but the NOW brand I got from Amazon doesn't seem to add any flavors at all. Just big pillowy clouds of vapor.

I have that same brand and same size bottle, USP certified 100% pure VG. I bought it for $10 at "Fox Whole Food Store" (it's like a health-food store with granola bars, soy milk, all-natural food and stuff like that). Luckily, there is one within a couple of miles of my house. That's easily enough VG to last me a couple of years.

Have been mixing VG with my PG for about 3 weeks and so far my atty has been good - it clogged ONCE and I just did a weak blow on the threaded part and it was good as new.
To folks who are mixing VG with their PG juices... have you found that it clogs up your attys (or batts if you use automatics) at all? I have not read that it does anywhere, but given that it is thicker than PG, I have been wondering about this for a while.

Thanks!

Thanks Gashin!

Do you (personally) do a 50/50 mix ratio when you add VG to your PG liquids?

I see you're in So. Cal as well... I just joined a San Diego Social Group here on ECF ... I am hoping to get to a meet up to swap liquid flavors (and talk about mixing experiences and see some more PV's in the wild)... maybe I'll catch you at one of these.

HV!

Hey everyone. Thanks for your answers but I a little confused. Are you saying I can smoke the vg all by itself? Its a juice? e liquid? Dont i have to mix it with something? Or can i just smoke vg? (sorry I have only ever had pg juice so I dont know anything about vg.)

Yes, you can vape VG straight, all by itself. I wouldn't call it a "juice", but it is an ingredient in juice. It's very cheap. It produces boatloads of vapor, but it contains no nicotine. It's very thick, so some cartridge filler materials have trouble "wicking" it towards the atomizer. If you drip this isn't an issue, but you can thin it with distilled water, booze, etc. if necessary.

I vape straight VG often when I'm trying to clear a bad taste or previous flavor from an atomizer. Since it's so cheap, I don't mind "wasting" it by "faffing" (by "faffing" I mean short, quick puffs without inhaling, like when you're lighting a pipe). I will also drip a few drops into an atomizer just to blow it out the other end, to help clean out a flavor (although I usually get rid of an old flavor by simply adding a new flavor and vaping).

It has a flavor on it's own that some people like, some don't. I find it non-offensive.
