Hey all, I've been vaping the Vamo v5 with the aerotank for some time now, I just bought the Kanger Mega which isn't bad but not my favorite. I'm wondering if anyone knows much about the Kraken, also, I'm new to the rebuild of the coils. If any of you can tell me what I need to know before making the change. Thanks

The Kraken would work on your Vamo, but it wouldn't be the best vape (in my opinion). I used an MVP with a nautilus and upgraded to a Kayfun Lite Plus V2. It worked, but it didn't really "unlock" the potential of the atomizer because it was slightly underpowered. I run my KFLP2 on a DNA30 or build it to run well on a mechanical mod.

To summarize: it'll work, but it won't be running at its full potential. Again, just my opinion. It may be more than satisfying for you or someone else.

Ok thanks, I will keep this in mind. I'm a novice when it comes to the building of the coils. Any other advice please feel free lol, I'll take all I get regarding this so I don't waste any money.

to be honest, on a mech with dual coils built around 0.7 ohms, my kraken would blow clouds on full open, and give the best mouth hits on barely open.

But, I went and broke the tank =(

If you're interested... I bought extras and at $8.00 apiece it was a no brainer and o-rings included.

From experience and IMHO I would not get the Kraken as your first RBA, maybe a Kayfun or Kayfun clone to start with until you are comfortable with coil building then move up. I have several Krakens and love them but it was a learning curve for me. I don't like mesh/steal rope and I had to learn to work with cotton on the Kraken and you have to get it just right or it will not feed properly. Now all of my Krakens are cloud blowers to a point. In any case I get good flavor and dense vapor, can do both mouth inhales as well as full lung depending on the e-liquid.

I agree with the rest, skip on it for now.
Tricky to build and need either a mechanical Mod or more advanced regulated mod to run well.

It took me several weeks to wick the Kracken correctly with cotton, so far two times in a row. Genesis attys are the most difficult for me to build and wick. Good luck though, when you get them dailed in the vape and flavor are hard to beat.
