Is that what they wrap the atomizers in? The metal mesh?

Yes,,,I believe it is Nichrome Wire they use for Attys some manufacturers may use different types, but if you use ss 400 mesh the flavor you get will be even better in the Sapphires, there are also other types of Wicking material that are much better as well this =http://www.omega.com/ppt/pptsc.asp?ref=XC_XC4_SLEEVING XC4-116 being just some super stuff ! it does not burn at the temp we operate with, I've been using both together on some things I'm projecting on and the flavor is like nothing I've ever had before with my juice, and just plain ss 400 Mesh as the wick in those Sapphires is super, you need to roll a real tiny thin piece of it and slide it in where the wick goes in place of what your using. You can buy the stuff at the mesh factory or McmaterCarr dot com.

MSI - its not the metal stuff the atty is wrapped in when you take it apart. but do get some to try like he said lol
MWA - i think he ment the silver metal stuffed packed around the ceramic shell in the atty when you take it apart.

Yes that is what I was talking about. Might be worth checking out. After so many dry burns the wick inside the coil was GONE! Guess it does burn eventually.

YIPEE!!! Home at last
Well I have been inspired by you vid MSI. As you all know I always say I am not a modder (I am certain most of you are tired of hearing it). My sapphires have worked flawlessly. That however is the reason I am going to take one apart tomorrow when I am off work. Just in case I have one at some point that I need to look at.

You could always wait till one gets to the point where you find it unusable, then take it apart and you could possibly bring ti back to life.
