Figurehead:

I finally had the time to spend 1/2 hour watching the review. Figurehead - damn that's long, lol

Some things are a bit off ....

First -
I don't have ANY cutoff on either my DSE701 , or RN4062s. Is that new?

You said the "RN701" has a cutoff - so I'm not sure which one you're talking about either. ( I want to know, so I can avoid it in the future )

Second -
Neither my DSE701, or RN4062's have a pointy atomizer. Which one of yours does? Where did it come from?

Third -
The vapor is absolutely horrible coming out of those. Every cigar I've got always pumped huge right off the bat. They get worse as time goes on, not better.
Unless the ones you have become MUCH better since the review - they don't deserve a thumbs up, or a recommendation.

Can you please follow up video with how they are behaving now, a couple weeks later? Did they actually increase vapor output after break in?

Thanks!

1. Well I was told they have a cut off, but honestly, even tho the LED sometimes turns off, I have never actualy experienced an actualy cut off.

2. The atomizers in these are almost flat. I got them from litecigusa.

3. The 2 I kept for myself are working much better now. Almost as good as my RN4062s. The start off vapor was really weak. I have no idea why this was the case but as soon as that damn primer liquid was gone they both turned around in the positive direction. The vapor was noticably improved on the 2nd day.

I recomend them and am happy with them. The price for the starter kit from litecigusa is the extra kick in my recomendation. These are great starter kits and after broken in they are pretty darn good. Again, the vapor isn't quite like the RN4062, but compared to my pens and 901s it's much better.

As soon as I get a chance I will do a follow up review video like I did with the RN4062s.

Hope that helps.

Ah, here's where the pointy thing came from,

O...the arch for the atomizer in the 701 looks like a true 901 arch (pointy and VERY narrow) whereas the 4062 is a very wide and flat arch. That is why the 701 stuffing falls out. The arch actually sticks INTO The wick (not just touches... sinks INTO) and so when you TWIST the cart to pull it off it wraps the polyfil around the atomizer arch a...
....(correction) .... I only used one of the 701's (I bought 4 of them lol!) and didn't realize that this whole time.. I thought the 701 was the 4062 and vice versa! You are right.. the pointy one is the 4062.

So I'll have to ask Spikey where that came from. Perhaps there is a fifth type of cigar floating around out there I haven't seen yet.
DX health junk , Bling , RN, DSE, and "pointy" lol

Like I say in the reviews, the easiest fix with the carts is to pull them out, wash & dry them, and hot glue them back into the cart. Works like a charm.

Figurehead's advice help me out immeasurably with my 701 issues, love the cigar.

I also found that the blank carts that Parked sells at DietSmokes.com work well in the 701. Got some today and have been trying all afternoon to make it stick to the atomizer, no dice. Major improvement not having to doctor the things before using them.

I did discover just how much of a mess I am capable of making with hot glue:oops:

I have used the carts for both in both and they work just fine.

So are they the same cart? They look the same in pictures,i.e. same size, threads, etc.Just asking because I need some new carts for my DSE701 and saw a deal at Dietsmokes.com for empty RN4062 carts and was thinking of ordering, unless you have a site that sells them.
