Nice review Scott I have never owned an RN4081 but that makes me interested in getting one! Is it longer than the EVO? I assume its about the thickness of a 901 am I right? You may also be interested in Simon's USB passthrough for the RN4081 if it is indeed one!

hi mate,

its about 7mm longer than a EVO that is fitted with a mighty atom battery but about 15mm shorter than a 901. its also the exact same width as the 901.

i personally really like the RN4081 e-cigs. they produce good vapour, good throat hit, slightly above average battery life, very easy to use and great for dripping.
if you are after a super mini but want something that is easier to drip than the EVO then you cant really go wrong with the RN4081.

you can get one from simon at e-cigs.co.uk for £35 with free P&P plus a discount if you type this in at checkout:-

but he seems to be sold out of all of them at the moment! they must be popular!

but you could get one from www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk for £39.99 with free P&P plus a discount if you type this in at checkout:-

TECC also sell them in black which looks rather nice!

as you can see, both simon and TECC sell them cheaper than what NjoyUK sell them for BUT NjoyUK give you a 12 month warranty on defective parts.............but will they honour it every time if your battery or atomiser fail within the 1st year??????? hmmmmmm, we shall see!

funny enough, i recieved a new RN4081 from TECC to review but was going to send it back as technically ive already reviewed it when doing the Npro review. but then i thought that quite often i get sent questions asking if one companies e-cig is the same as anothers but with a different name. so thought it might be a good idea to make a vid showing the same model from different suppliers with the pros and cons (price, warranties, cost of parts etc) for each supplier so then people can make a judgment of their own as to who to purchase from. more geared towards the people who are new to e-cigs i guess, as those with a bit of experience soon realise that there are a lot of e-cigs with different names but the same model!

Well thats sorted then, I'm gonna get me an RN4081 on payday!!! It looks like Totally Wicked have them the cheapest right now and I can buy some juice from there whilst I am at it :pand maybe even some lorann stuff :D

Its nice to see an old model has survived under the radar only to resurface at a later date, given a good review and come out as great as newer models, I wish I had bought one sooner!!

The 901 used to come out top dog and the RN4081 was always below it (probably its more cigarette look let it down back then) and I guess thats not really true anymore, I may even abandon the 901 if I like my RN4081 as the 901 will never be as good as it was. :)
