of course. everything...EVERYTHING that is chocolate flavored MUST be made for kids. adults only like the taste of tofu and mothballs. oh what about them vanilla and chocolate and strawberry and blueberry phillies blunts and black and milds? are they not marketed for kids? and still remain accessible when the shady gas station owner doesnt card people? and those blunt wrappers are indeed drug delivery devices for more than just nicotine. so wheres the idiotic puppet video for those?
Well, if that's the case, then I guess I'm safe buying edible undies, flavored condoms, raspberry warming massage lotion, and dark chocolate liqueur for my three young nephews this Christmas.

Sorry!I'm so exasperated at their desperation to classify every blasted thing that tastes good as being directly marketed for use by children! Here are some other things that, while not necessarily delectable, are certainly flavored:
Pepto Bismol
Nicorette
Halls Eucalyptus cough drops
Cherry-flavored codeine and phenergan cough syrup (prescription-only)
Liquid Barium solution for radiology exams of the GI tract (I was given a vanilla one)
Mike's Hard Lemonade
Fluoride gel at the dentist's office (not intended to be ingested)
Toothpaste (not intended to be ingested)
Lip gloss (not intended to be ingested)
Vanilla, chewable Lactaid supplement
Orange-flavored Metamucil
The biggest hypocrisy, to me, is seeing absolutely no similarly-themed attacks on flavored alcohol (hard liquor, wine, beer, liqueur), which is also obviously meant for adult consumption. Not that I want it to start, but I do think it's extremely revealing.
Does anyone know the statistics of underage drinking as opposed to underage smoking? I would think alcohol use would win hands down.
Nor to mention Nicorette Lozenges/Gum, too! They are marketing to kids as well by selling cherry, juicy fruity, mint, cappuccino, and chocolate will be next. AND they're FDA approved!

I had my 4 kids watch this video they are 10, 12,14,16 and then I asked them this question would you start smoking because it tasted like chocolate or stawberry and they said no, why because cigarettes will kill you. Then I asked would they start vaping they all said no I said why because if I want choco I will eat a candy bar and because it has nicotine in it. So there you have it not because it tastes good do all children want to do it. If you teach your children just because you do something does not mean it is appropriate for them then it is something that you should not have to worry about. Also if someone wants to start smoking, drinking, or whatever then they are going to that is all there is to it that is why there is laws about underage. If they enforce the law and parents do their part then there wouldnt be as much of a problem. I know that there are teenage smokers that hang out in my neighborhood waiting for the bus every morning but you know where they get their smokes probably steal them fom mom and dad or an 18 y old friend buys it for them. Not my problem and just because I like flavors doesn't mean I should be treated like i am underage. They took all the tasty cigarettes off the market like clove and stuff for this same reason the KIDS still smoke to me it seems like even if it tastes like **** they will still do it. I did.
Oh and you can't forget chocolate coffee either or those nifty new caramel frappes from Mickey D's my children love them
...on a similar note, I was ...... when my daughter's school started carrying energy drinks. They had a big "Monster" bash one day. It's become a fad to be jacked up on caffine. I told my daughter, "Stop texting at 3 in the morning and you won't be tired!"
yeah at our high school my two can only buy diet sodas and they don't need diet one weighs 65pnds and the older one 90 pnds. Oh thats one more thing that comes in flavors diet soda stawberry, cola, bubblegum( big red). I tell my kids diet soda causes brain cancer so they cant drink it. Gee wait doesn't caffeine have some of the same side effects as nicotine? Lets give our kids alot of it and a whole bunch of cancer causing fake sugar. I do understand the concept of sugar free for medical needs.
Ah, but there's big $$$ in the soda and artificial sweetener industries...plus they've both received the FDA's seal of approval!!
I've noticed a decided lack of concern "for the children" when it comes to certain chemicals with FDA blessings, like Ritalin, heavily-sugared cereals, and Depakote. Some school officials act as if every child should be medicated, as THEY see fit (but they pitch a fit if they discover a parent is a smoker...whoo boy).
*sigh* I really miss the 70's...even some of the 80's...anytime before the nannies took over.

I could not agree more.
I would give anything to have us, as a group, be more vocal...while at the same time somehow muting the lying opposition, if only for a few minutes. People are so used to being fed fake entertainment news and junk statistics that most can no longer distinguish fact from fiction, and I'm not sure what it would take to get the nonsmoking majority to at least wake the heck up and see how easily this unfair targeting of smokers and vapers could be passed on to them for a different reason.
