We had a blast at F1 Raceway where we celebrated our 2 year anniversary as Arizona's first (and only) vaping social group! A bumpy start when we first arrived (our coordinator/contact person at F1 wasn't there) but after Hellen threw a hissy and made some threats about gathering everyone up and going somewhere else...
grr we soon were ushered into the VIP room where everyone had a great time vaping, catching up with each other, eating/drinking and remembering some good times we've had over the last 2 years. This month we had 27 members at our social and also had some curious folks at F1 who dropped in to see what vaping was all about. Our 50/50 pot was $215 (split at $110/$105). As usual, our vendors and members provided lots of fun items for our raffle drawings. Thanks to Zikwid Lounge, AromaEJuice and MostAngryIndustries and Gourmet Vaping Liquids for their great donations as well as all the nice items donated by our generous members for these drawings. Thanks everyone!!
Once we got our server (Paisley, who was AWESOME) she made sure everything was made perfect for our group. We even converted her to vaping! Jerry at AromaEJuice gave her a 510 disposable kit, I gave her a 250ml bottle of Vanilla Gorilla e-liquid from Gourmet Vapor to make sure she had PLENTY of liquid, and members sat with her and helped get her new little e-cig going and gave her tips at the end of the social!). THAT is what VIP is all about! I gave her forum info. (and my email) so hopefully, we'll see her here on the VIP forum soon.

New Vaping Converts: (at the back wall) A few F1 race fans came in, got some info. and were introduced to the ABC's of vaping from Jonas of Zikwid Lounge. MOAR CONVERTS! Mark and David (right with backs to the camera) came in to see Joel and get some kits to start their new vaping journey... they bought Ego Kits from Zikwid! I hope we'll see them again?

Adam came in to town to visit with the group and brought MAP Tanks with him for sale. Nice to see Mal, who was one of our very first VIP members!! As usual, the only girl out playing games with the boys. LOL Well, it sure was fun, but I came home with a huge bruise on the top of my nose from the inside of my helmet crashing down on it when I did major corner drifts and I also had a huge seat belt hickey looking strap burn on my neck. Had to 'splain that to my husband! LOL I came in #3 out of the pack of 7 racers! Racing on the 1/2 mile track was awesome!! My best lap time was 60.694 on the 1/2 mile.
Bob/Pipes: Rockin the helmet buddy! Bob smoked everyone, coming in first with the fastest lap! Guess that means I won't try to race his Vet with my Solstice... His best lap was 57.494 on the 1/2 mile track which put him in the #1 position. Congrats Bob!
SheerLuckHolmes/Barry: Brought in his own helmet! A Pro??? Oh oh... Oh, never mind. Barry cruised his best lap in at 63.542 putting him in the #6 slot (out of 7 racers).
Ceegary/Gary: Ready to rumble! Gary's best lap time was 62.434 which put him at 5th place.
Bad to the Bone Bish/Joel: Ready to mash the pedal. Joel's best lap was 61.105 and put him in the #4 position. I think I saw him stuck on a wall at one point with an attendant trying to get him off of it... LOL.
