Hi guys and girls,

I am just about to start vaping with my girlfriend to attempt to give up real ciggs.

We just purchased 2 Joytech EVic devices and some liquid but just found out it doesn't come with everything you need to get started. We know we will need some liquid. Also an atomiser/vapouriser or something like that but just not sure which one will work with the EVic device. It is a very confusing situation as I have already paid over $100 each for these devices. Any help would be very much appreciated. We want the liquid that has nicotine in it do they all?

Do we need atomiser or vapouriser or are they the same thing?

Do we need Anything else to get started on our EVics? We hAve bought our stuff from VapeKing

If I'm not mistaken it comes with a battery so you should be good there, yes? The only thing you need at this point is some juice and a tank to put it in, and no, not all juice has nicotine in it but you should be able to customize your juice to your liking from most vendors. I like Mount Baker Vapor juices because they ship very fast and they have a good selection at a great price. They also sell tanks, so you can order from one place and get everything at the same time if you like. E Cigarette | Buy Electronic Cigarettes | E Juice - Mt Baker Vapor

As a new vaper, you might want to consider a 50% PG / 50% VG juice to start as they wick really well in most tanks. Nicotine levels are subjective so I hesitate to guide you there, although I will say that I use 12 mg / ml nicotine myself and am extremely happy with that. As to tanks, just about any tank with replaceable heads should do just fine. I like Kanger Aerotanks and the Aspire Nautilus Mini myself, both of which are fairly easy to use. Plenty of vids on youtube if you need a visual guide to using the tanks. Good luck on quitting the stinkies and finding vapey contentedness.

I expect your kit must have some kind of atomizer or clearomizer. Can you post a link or picture?

E liquid comes in various strengths from 0mg to 24mg. Some comes as high as 32mg. I use 18mg as a pack a day smoker for 35 years. Getting ready to try to drop to 12mg soon.

Show us a link or pic of your kit.

Roxynoodle, I agree that a lot of kits include a clearo but the Vapeking evic starter kit seems pretty sparse, just the mod, a battery and a usb cable. Here's the pic from their site if it helps.

Did you get any batteries and a charger for the batteries? If not, I recommend a couple of AW IMR 18650 2000mah batteries for each Evic.

You'll need a charger for those batteries. I recommend either the Xtar WPII-2 or the Nitecore Intellicharger i2.

Your choice of "tanks" for the Evics can be any eGo or 510 threaded juice attachment. A clearomizer will most likely be the easiest for you to fill and use. These have a coil/wick assembly in them that will require replacement every 10 - 20 days. These can be purchased for around $3 each; they are not intercompatible between models or brands, so be sure your replacements are the correct ones.

Is it a carto, a tank, or what? A Guide for Juice Attachments

There is a wide choice of clearomizers to choose from. Do a YouTube search for each model and see which looks fitting for you. Then do a Google search for a vendor who sells them.

  • Aspire Vivi Nova or Aspire Nautilus
  • Innokin iClear 30B
  • Kanger Protank 3 or Kanger Aerotank

E-liquids are available in no nicotine and increasing levels of nicotine 6mg to 24mg nicotine. They can be purchased from literally hundreds of online vendors or local vape shops should any be in your city. Many vape shops have juice sample bars where you can try the flavors before you buy. Purchase the appropriate level of nicotine in the juice for how many cigs you smoke.

10 cigs a day = 6 mg nicotine
20 cigs a day = 12 mg
30 cigs a day = 18 mg
40 cigs a day = 24 mg

Be sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day; vapor can cause some dehydration. Also use a gentle longer draw on your Evics than you may have done with cigarettes; a harder draw will cause your tanks to flood.

Oh wow! Jumped in the deep end without a life preserver and prior to testing the waters as well I see. These forums can be your best friend if you take the time to research them and read.

Almost anything 510 or ego threaded will work on the evic I believe. If you have a vape store nearby, you could stop in to try some juice a pick up a couple of tanks to get you started.

Listen to this person.

Your title threw me off there. I thought some company named Virgin Vaper had bought out eVic.
