Hi all,

I'm looking to buy my first vapouriser but I'm a bit bewildered by what's on offer!

Looking around, it seems that the E-Power is quite popular. I'm just wondering what I need to get started, I'm looking at the E-Power kit on this website:

Electronic Cigarette E-Power Black — UK-Eliquid.

How long would everything last, do I need to order new batteries and atomisers and cartomisers straight away or will the kit last 6-12 months without having to buy anything else?

Does the E-Power kit I linked about allow me to refill using e-liquid or do I need to buy anything else?

Also, I normally smoke around 10-15 rollups a day, what would the rough equivalent to this be in terms of e-liquid ml's?

Finally, will switching to e-cigarettes be like the equivalent of giving up smoking completely in terms of health benefits, lung capacity etc?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

EDIT: I've just read through some of the new members FAQ's so have some information on my final question, personal accounts would still be welcome though!

I played with a lot of set ups and what I have found that works best for me is a VV lavatube rename. I got mine from Vaporbeast.com. The kit was 70 bucks. and it arrived 2 days later with a bunch of extra "goodies" as a thank you for ordering. I would recomend that to anybody. Then pick up a couple bottles of juice (with your smokng habit I would say 18mg) in any flavor that floats your boat and maybe an exra battery or two and you should be set. All told about $100 and you probably won't want anything else for a while.

That being said, a huge part of this is trial and error. Regardless of what you get for your first set up, if it doesn't work for you then try again. I have read a lot of good things about the e-go style but it wasn't for me. I tried the "pen-style". Wasn't for me either. The absolute best thing you could do would be to find a local vape meet and see if a few people would let you try theirs out to see what you like the best.

I wish you nothing but the best of luck in finding that perfect vape!

The e-power checked the boxes for me. Longer battery life between charges and reasonable replacement parts. Like the fact I can purchase a battery for it for $5.00 US or a new switch for $10.

The E-power is 510 threaded so you can use anything 510 with it. If it says ego 510 you will need an adaptor.

It is a great choice for a 1st ecig.

Hi all, How long would everything last, do I need to order new batteries and atomisers and cartomisers straight away or will the kit last 6-12 months without having to buy anything else?

- Batteries can last 2 years, but expect them to not perform quite so well after 6 months to a year of use. You need to replace cartomisers fairly often. One cartomiser is expected to last about a week of heavy use. Atomisers are expected to last around a month or longer of heavy use, generally expect a good few weeks out of one.

- You can refill any cartomiser and you can also use any 510 threaded heating element with it, you're not limited to the cartomisers given with it.

- How many ml you go through a day is very personal. I go through 2ml a day. Some use less than half a ml, some use over 10ml a day. Average is between 2 - 3ml a day. You can't really equate how much you smoke to how much you vape or strength. How much nicotine you need is also very different per person. I use 6mg liquids, and I used to smoke 20+ rollies a day. Others use 48mg, which I know for a fact would almost kill me and is considered way too high to be using. Most use around 18mg to 12mg at about 2 - 3ml a day. You just need to see what you need through using your ecig.

That epower looks like an alright deal. I wouldn't say no to it if it was my first ecig. I'd also say to check out the lavatube instead if size and looks isn't a problem. It'll cost a little more but it's so much more powerful.
