These are primarily what I use, combined with a 1000 mah Twist. I've got enough parts for 10+ clearos and many replacement heads. I've settled on 2.8 ohm heads. Allows me to vary the voltage all the way up to about 4.5 volts. I hope they keep producing these for a while.

Cons: - They won't wow you out of the package. This is pretty much the fault of the silica wicks. Require a little bit of (really easy) tinkering.
- 1.6ml can go quickly if you up the voltage. I tend to carry 2 extra clearos with me. But, generally, I use about 3 tank fulls a day.

Pros: - If you take the time to learn how to rewick the heads with cotton, these clearos go from "meh" to amazing. It's a simple job...doesn't require recoiling. Just open a new head, slide the silica wick out, and find some rolled cotton (Rite Aid, CVS, whatever). I've been using cotton makeup applicator pads "borrowed" from my girlfriend.

Roll up a thin wick, thread it through the coil, trim, reassemble, fill up the tank and let it sit for 10 or 15 minutes. The TH, flavor, amount of vapor, and complete lack of dry hits are worth the little bit of work. Once you get it down, you can rewick in less than 5 minutes. You can also dry burn and clean the coil with the wick out. Wicks last me 3 days or so, and with the size of the roll, or the amount of applicator pads, I'll have hundreds of rewickings for $5. The heads have been going strong for 8+ weeks.

I tried the Kaner T2, and didn't like it, even with tweaking.

I have ego mega dual carts as a backup.

Thanks for all the great info Yinzer. I have never re-wicked my nova's because the coils are so small, with my big fingers and less than great eysight, I'm not sure I would succeed. However since you don't need to re-coil these maybe I could manage them.

I use the V3 & I love them. When they get nasty I just tear it down & soak to cleanhouse in 91% alcohol. Replacing wicks is so much cheaper then just tossing like the original visions. I have several so I use one for each flavor juice. My store is dumping them & pushing the Vivi Nova now. I have been looking for a wick source on line for my V3's. Not ready to spend more $$$the everytime the shop decides to change .... up!

They are definitely not 1.6-mL as the plastic is the same as the V2 and the center post is larger. Other than that I like them.

I just filled a brand new clearo with Halo juice, and they provide a marked dropper, and I swear it took about 1.5 ml. I generally fill halfway up the silicone, too...getting 1.8ml or so. Doesn't tend to leak or gurgle that much.

Perhaps they're taller? I threw out all of my old V2s, so don't have any to compare.

Thanks for your input! I like the vivi nova's they are a good product and have been nearly trouble free for me, I.m just looking for something a little cheaper that perform well. Sounds like the V3's are a good product.

I just picked one up yesterday and I can't say anything bad about. Good flavor and throat hit - on par with my mini vivi nova, in fact. Obviously can't speak on longevity but my hopes are high.

Try a cotton rewick, when you get a chance. Well worth it.

They hold up pretty long. I've yet to throw away a tube or center post, after about two months, although the threads on either the tank and / or post become very tight after a while. I'm also careful with my equipment. My girlfriend constantly drops hers, and the plastic tank loves to come undone from the metal ring. But a push back in, problem solved.

I've been wanting to try this out really bad. What exactly is "rolled cotton"? Is it the pads that are used to bandage up a cut? Just a cotton pad that you place on your cut or wound and tape it down? So I would have to cut off a piece and twist it up into a wick? I’m a little lost in this category on what to get exactly. To me it would seem simpler to get cotton yarn from a craft store, which would already be in the shape of a string style wick…. I must be missing something.

Good to know. I think I'll order a couple of them to try.

Please let me know where you find them on-line...I keep coming up with companies in China & Hong Kong...not comfortable putting credit Card orders in overseas...My store clearanced them so I bought out their 15 wicks :)

I did end up ordering a mini Vivi Nova from a new juice supplier that I am trying....hope the 100% VG juice works OK in them. I believe that i have developed issues with PG so I am testing a change in juice & suppliers.

I couldn't find unbleached cotton yarn at Michael's, so went to Rite Aid and bought

.

I found it hard to work with that cotton, though if I got a wick out of it, it seems to last a long time.

I then hijacked a few cotton makeup applicator pads from my girlfriend. Like these:

FIL22549.JPG

They have worked well...perfect length, not much trimming needed. I cut a strip, peel it in half, roll up the end, and thread it through a cleaned / dry burned / rinsed coil. Gently pull the wick through...fluff it out, trim. They seem to last about two or three days. Maybe 6 tank fulls, or so, before the flavor goes. So cheap and easy to do, that I just swap out at the first sign of the wick going.

The flavor / vapor / TH with cotton, and this setup, is very close to dripping.

I may have to rewick a clearo tonight. If so, I'll take some pics and post up my how-to, so I can share how I rewick without having to recoil :)

Yinzer... I must say you have some a long way since these first came out.

I got at least a half dozen of these each with a different flavor but, I finally learned how to get rid of the guck on my atomizer heads by dry burning, and have mostly been doing dripping recently.

But, with all that you have learned, I think I will get some cotten stripping like you have mentioned and give that a try on my clearos.

Thanks for the info!

Hell yea, some pics would be amazing. I got some cotton pads from a first aid kit laying around work and tried this out, but I couldn't get it feed threw the coil. Do you pull up on the coil at all in an attempt to make it bigger and easyer to fit the cotton threw? That damn coil is so small.

I use a pushpin, and slide it through the coil. I gently pull it up to be able to wick it more easily. After that, when it's wicked, I gently pull down on the wicks so it allows for better wicking of the juice. It chokes it if it's too high.

Haven't had to re-wick one in the last few days. I'll post a how to up shortly! :)

Also, I wet the tip and roll it up as tightly as possible. You might have to work with varying thicknesses, until you get it just right. If you get a little through, some small tweezers can be used to grab it and pull it through.

Personally, I can't stand these clearomizers. I used them for about a month and had to constantly mess with them to make them work. I had issues with gurgling, sometimes clogging where I couldn't even draw on it (even after I cleaned them) and sometimes juice got on my lips somehow on the OUTSIDE of the drip tip (as if it leaked through the seal where the tip meets the silver ring). When they worked, they were awesome. But I found myself constantly having to fiddle with them to make them work. I honestly went through about 15 total over the course of the month. Some just didn't work at all. I ordered them from 3 different venders with the same inconsistent results. I switched to the Kanger versions. I've fell in love with the T3, but it's a bottom coil so you may miss the warm vape. In which case, try the T2. Check out all the reviews for the Kanger line. I feel they are a far superior product, with better vapor production and 99% more consistency. Just my humble opinion here.

I have looked at the Kanger's and may try them out as well, thanks for your opinion!

Sounds like you were using the earlier Visions... the one's without the replaceable heads. I tried a couple of these but did not get good results with them. But, we are talking about the V3s here, the one's with the replacable heads.
