Vision Ego Cartomizer

I came close to 6 volts by accident and it ended up killing one of my Stardusts. Its the higher Ohms one too. My Infinity Pro wheel must've rotated in my pocket to the highest setting (which is 5.7 I believe) and I didn't catch it in time. So I don't recommend it.

Anyone try these at 6Volts?

To my taste buds, the taste is better than the standard Visions. I never got into those.

Finally having some time to catch up on my ECF after all of our technical glitches this week... So happy you're enjoying the Vision EGO, Iowa Gal! I do think there is a slight drop in flavor from the Vision 2.5 mL, but a worth while trade for the complete disappearance of all leaking issues. A rinse with hot water and an air dry overnight is all you need to change flavors. These things last a long time.

I got 3 of these and love them.. but I do have one that leaks. Either the wick is the issue or the mouthpiece seal- it is a tiny bit crooked compared to the other 2. I am still going to use it, tho- just more work with it. I also plan to buy more as needed.

I agree I love these...haven't tried the LR yet as I already have three going One thing I am finding is that if I leave a filled one sitting on my KGO for several hours (not using it) that I am getting a little leaking. Nothing big, just a few drops of juice....I pull it off, blow it out and it's good to go. Since I do like multiple flavors during the day...think I'm going to keep the one I'm not using in a prescription bottle until I want to switch out.

Have a question...I really love the Vision Egos but not having much luck in cleaning an re-use. I just ran quite a bit of hot water through...shook them up pretty good with water in them, then let them air dry over night. Am I missing something?

Hi Iowa Gal, that's all I do to clean them. For most flavors that works fine for me. Are you still getting too much residual flavor left over? I did notice that a few really strong flavors tend to linger (the Blue Violet and the Tropical Storm) but the rest worked fine with this method for me.

These are Very easy to take apart completely and clean, as well as very simple to fully rebuild and put an entire new wick and wrap a new coil around a new wick even. I don't want to post the video on this page because it's done from another vendors forum, if you cant find it you can PM me Iowa Gal,,,, takes no more then 10min for a complete rebuild, very simple anyone can do this, same with just a dismantle and total clean.

I will look and if I can't find it let you know. Annette...it really wasn't a flavor thing..just couldn't get it to work. Now today I did get a second one I cleaned to work..and before filling I did three short dry burns. Don't know if that is why..or just one hanging in there longer than another. If I ever learn about all of this stuff...then what am I going to do

I am soooo disappointed. My recent orders of Stardusts/Vision Ego Clearos have been busts. Seems like they have a chemical applied to them or something. I can smell it and taste it. I tried cleaning and dry burned the hell out of it and I can still taste the thing. I tried ordering it from another company and the same there. I'm afraid to get any more for fear they will have that smell/taste thing going on. I wish there was a way to give feedback to the Chinese company that is responsible for these. I love these things but I just wasted $50 and I'm not up to doing that again.

I haven't noticed that but yuck! Has anyone else noticed this? I can write the company to see what I can do to get them to stop or change what they are doing if this is a widespread problem. Feedback from anyone else?

I had ordered 1 as a test and like it, so I ordered many more. They arrived yesterday, I filled 2 of them with some of my preferred juices (NSV eggnog and ECO blueberry cheesecake) and I really love these things. I have been using the regular Visions but have been a bit dissappointed with them as they get older, they seem to fill up the mouthpiece and then drain down the center tube, so I had been wasting a lot of juice clearing them out. So far with the first one I bought, I have had no gurgling, no wasted juice and really good flavor. As far as that chemical thing mentioned above, I think there's an oil or something on the outside (at least), I could smell it when it I opened the package, but I wiped it down with a soft clean cloth and the smell went away. YMMV

I've notice that too, Rootwhacker (juice filling up the mouthpiece). The Vision Ego seems to be the next generation and a big improvement. I have noticed a bit of flavor reduction with them, but other than that, I have no complaints! I can hardly wait for my new order of these in a variety of colors to arrive!

I'm having a bad taste from my Vision Egos, too. I can barely taste the juice over this chemical cleaner taste- a complete bummer since I now feel like I wasted not only the money on the carto, but the 1.6mL of juice I filled it with. I won't buy these again.

these things are working out great, just have to keep it tilted on an upward angle and they give great taste, throat hit, and vapor... I could easily use a few more though for all my liquids

I wrote to the company to find out and they said that they use a small amount of oil on the connection between the mouth piece and the cartomizer to make it easier to screw on and off. I suspect since it's pretty rare that people taste this that it just occasionally leaks inside the cartomizer and, since it's an oil, is hard to get rid of. I have asked them if it is possible to discontinue using this oil or to change what they are doing in another way so that this doesn't happen any more. They will be getting back to me...

I was given one of these by my primary juice supplier..and it sat in a box for a couple of weeks. I use a GG Stealth and Odysseus re-buildable atty, so I had no reason to even try it...that is, until my wick order didn't arrive on a Friday, and I didn't have enough stock left to get me through until Monday.

I broke it out, filled it up and put it on my Stealth. I was not expecting it to be as good as it is; not by a long shot.
It is NOT an Odysseus; that is still the best atty I've encountered. It does take some work to get it working right and consistently, but once you do it's a very tough act to follow.

The Stardust on the other hand is dead easy, and after a tank it was broken in, and producing a very good vapor. No leaks, very consistent, no dry hits...It works so well I ordered a half dozen. I don't use them all the time, but I do carry a couple with me and have a couple more and a bottle of juice in my truck, along with a Precise 10440 and a half dozen batteries. I'm hooked up!
