Vision eGo Clearomizer 2.1-2.4ohm won't fire on Riva battery

Hey guys, technical issue here. I just got a shipment from Hoosier of a clearomizer (EGO Vision clearomizers LR 2.1-2.4ohm) and a KGO kit. I have one question relevant to this thread and one that doesn't fit here, maybe someone here can grab both.

The clearomizer fires perfectly fine on my genuine joyetech eGo-C battery. It does not, however, fire on my perfectly good Riva battery, which I use much more often. Does this make sense to anyone? Why won't it fire on the Riva, when it will fire on the eGo? The Riva works with my LR Boge cartos just fine. Great, in fact.

Secondly, the KGO kit I got also will not fire. When I plug it into the charger, it flashes and then the charger indicates its fully charged. However, when trying to trigger it with the 5-click protection, it will not turn on. Is it DOA?

Looks like the batteries are firing now. The button on these kgos are a little bit different than what I am used to. They require you to push a bit slower and more consistently to turn them on and off.
