Vision Ego Less Flavor?

Not sure if it's just me, but using one of my favorite flavors (Backo from Backwoods Brew) I notice much less flavor then the last 2 times I have gotten this flavor using Regular cartomizers. There seems to be almost no flavor sometimes and is almost like I'm smoking flavorless e-liquid.
Anyone else noticing less flavor while using these Vision Clearomizers?

I'm kinda thinking that because of how the wick goes threw the tiny hole and the type of wick fiber that is used that maybe it is filtering out the flavor before it gets to the atomizer inside? What do you all think?

I have the SR Vision Clearomizers, the flavour does get kinda mute for the initial fill, seems better after the third refill. Maybe the LR version is better? Will get some when they are back in stock.

It's been the opposite for me. I have both Boge 2.0 cartos and the SR Stardusts which I run at 4-4.2v and the flavor for me is much more pronounced on the Stardust. I have some of the LR stardusts coming in the mail today so it'll be interested to see if there is a difference.

Ok so my initial findings...

I haven't done a side by side test with the same flavor (as I have a limited number of blanks) but here is what I have found.

1. The LR stardusts perform as well on my 1100mah ego battery as the SR stardusts do on my Booster at 4.2v.

2. The flavor is the same so I'm making the assumption the I'll prefer the flavor on the LR Stardusts/Standard battery to my LR filler cartos.

The flavor I'm using is a very subtle flavor that I don't really taste well on the Boge carto, but seems much more pronounced on the Stardusts.

Some people say they get a plastic taste from the Stardusts as well that I've never noticed, so YMMV.... or I'm just weird.

Either way. I love both the SR and LR Stardusts. I still enjoy my Boge 2.0 on my SD keyring and other 510 units.

Only 1 observation I have made...

On my Joyetech ego batteries...the LR Stardusts are great. With my other knock off Ego batteries...the LR Stardusts are great. On my Riva 1100mah batteries, however, the LR Stardusts are giving me a burnt taste unless I put the booster on them and dial it down to about 3.4v.

my personal opinion, which dont mean much since flavor varies soo much from person to person is the the vision's do provide a more flavorful vape, whether it is the standard or the low resistance.

Much appreciated for your info, Ctourtelot! Shawn might be right too, guess I need to test it on different juice and various voltages/batteries to get the best of it.

I get more flavor with a higher voltage, when using a standard ego battery, the flavor is very mute to me.
