Just wondering if I am the only one having issues with this product. It seems like no matter what I try (premade coils, building my own coil, high ohm, low ohm) i can never get the taste or performance I would like to get. I would love to use a rba but it seems like no matter what I try I cannot get away from carto tanks. Any advice would be appreciated

well dont give up on rba's if the eternity is your first, they are very hit or miss for quality of construction. and even Pbusardo said the flavor was muted even when compared to a vivi nova. i bought one before he reviewed it, set it up, used it for the night and it sits in a box since.
try a phoenix clone or an A7 for way better results.

Thats funny you would say that! The last one I bought was a bulldog 2.0 (pheonix clone). I am somewhat more satisfied with that. I think I will be looking for a tanks system next. I really like the idea of only replacing wire and wick rather than whole cartomizers, however I havent found or tried anything that performs as well (with as little maintenance) as carto tanks. Any recomendations for a rebuildable tank atomizer?

I have the money and although I am completely irresponsible with it I have a hard time spending $100 + dollars on a tank system. I felt like a sucker for buying the vision eternity $30 and the thing is useless to me! I guess if something was tried and proven I wouldnt have a problem spending the coin. Ive been looking at this AGA Tiamat. Any thoughts?

i dont have one but they are well received and each revision is a step forward for a cheap one. and i think they are a great way to get into the genesis style tanks and see if it is for you.

but be warned the mesh wick and wire can be really frustrating starting out but they vape like monsters when you finally get it.

and yea im mad about the eternity myself. but some people love them so.

if you get an aga and like it get a real one after, will it work better? not much. is it made better? 1000%

A7 is a great Dripping atty. Easy to assemble, maintenance is drop dead simple and the cost is super friendly. Been using mine with bamboo wick and Kanthal 30 awg and its a work horse, great flavor and vapor.

AGA-T/T+/T2 all seem good. I've got a -T currently and a T2 on order. They can be used with fabric or SS/Ceramic wick. Again, simple setup and maintenance. Tough as hell. Affordable ($30 or less from USA vendors). Definitely try and get a T+ (plastic tank) or T2 (pyrex glass tank) if you go this route. I'm thinking the original T is going to be phased out real soon.

Howdy,

Depends on really your coil/wick set-up, I've set up one at the house (and is a go to atomizer) that tastes close to or better then my phoenix atomizer. Its truthfully on how you build your coil set up, what silica you use. The base line to any good build is starting out with good quality components to put in to the build.
My current set up for RBA's are as follows...IHybrid, AGA-T and Phoenix.

Howdy,

That's how it seems to me. I don't have RBA but would/should not a properly set up coil/wick in a $30 RBA perform just as well as a $100 RBA? After all they both have a neg/pos post. Isn't the only 'real' difference the exotic housing the $100 one sits in? The higher cost seems more hype then substance IMO. Yes, it may be fancier but after all it is just the housing. It would seem (as quoted here) to me the only diff is cosmetic. could someone enlighten me as to why the high buck one is better in practice? It just does not make sense on a practical level. Not being argumentative but am just not seeing it.

not always, but sometimes it goes beyond the cosmetic differences, like with the ZAP the machining and tuning of how it actually produces and concentrates the vapor will change small things like the taste or flavor, in the end your are corrent it is just a tube with a wire in it, but compare a vivi nova and a spheroid for flavor, both of them use the same kind of wick and wire but the spheroid has been tuned to concentrate and magnify the vapor and will kick the nova to the curb, in some cases it is just aesthetics but in some cases it really does make a difference.

not only this but most of the cheaper ones also use cheaper materials most phoenix clones as well as the eternity use plated brass and some of us dont want this. i dont want to worry about is the chrome plating slowly dissolving into my juice, i would like to kno the tank is stainless or titanium and the juice cannot effect them.

i got into vaping to avoid several health risks and i dont feel like potentially adding more just to save a few bucks, and in the end why not support the people who make quality products and not some factory in china who stole the design.

I'm using a Vision eternity rba, total newb here though. So far this rba has worked great except for flooding a few times.

Could anyone point me in the direction to find more info on the ceramic wicks being used now?

My biggest issue w/vaping in general is taste, or the lack thereof. I have SS mesh on order to try & am looking for other alternatives too.

As of right now, no one is selling ceramic wicks as they are still in production. DiscountVapers will put them up as soon as he gets his order in but they have been delayed a few days. He says that he'll likely get them in this week as soon as the supplier figures out how to safely ship the wicks because they're super fragile.

If you want taste, then get a rebuildable dripper like a Phoenix or IGO-L/S. Or you can get a Kanger eVod, they're marketed as being a replaceable coil head where you just buy new heads when one goes bad but the coils can be rebuilt pretty easily.

I too bought a Vision Eternity last week, No issues with it, well, I got a little gurgle for a few minutes. But I like it much better than my Vivi Nova.

I know I get much better flavor and Vapor from it than the Vivi... Isn't it weird how different people have different issues and tastes from
the same device's..

I did order a AgA t+ w glass tank last night. Was going to order the ZAP. I still may order it.. after hearing that the Caps don't easily fall off.
But I do like a tighter draw though.. type of draw that you'd get from a vivi.. because "To Me" it resembles the same type of draw that I'd get from a Marlboro Red.

I'm still trying to figure out what I like the best.. I want to be done with cartos.... Even though I just bought 2 more IBTanked setups, with SS caps. and a dozen cartos..

But I haven't used any of them yet, Because I like my Vision Eternity now.

:2c:

I am by NO means experienced with RBAs or rebuilding coils. I have rebuilt 2 Vivi Nova heads (2.0 ohms; 1.4ohms) and I was Piffed a Vision Eternity! I love to drip so I was intrigued by the VE's drip mode.

I tried, and tried, and TRIED, to use the replacement coils that came with my RBA but it drove me nuts! The wire was so small and the wick kept coming apart. I contacted the person who Piffed me the VE. They were just so generous! They included wick and wire with the VE! It seemed like it was the same silica wick and 32 gauge Kanthal wire I was using to make the Vivi heads. I was confused!

Everything I turned up in pre-coil building research for the VE said that 32 ga. was too big to use? Research also implies that the size of the silica wick I was using (unsure of gauge but it was larger than what comes with the kit) was undesireable as well so I asked my Piffer. They said they used 32 ga wire all the time. So.....the first head I built for the VE I made just exactly like I would for a Vivi. It came in at 2.0 ohms. It is not pretty. It does, however work great!

I've been using the same head on the VE in drip mode for about 1.5 weeks. I love it. The original specs say the VE will hold 35 or 40 drops (2.5-3ml) of e-liquid. Then I saw reports about people having leakage problems. The most I have ever put in my VE in drip mode is 25 drops. It works like a champ and I get good flavor without leakage. If it starts getting a burned taste i disassemble it, wash it out with hot tap water, put the coil on an old 510 battery and burn it off.

My experience, as a beginner and one who loves to drip, has been positive with the Vision Eternity in drip mode.
