I've only been a vaper for a month and a half and i ventured into clearo's for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I've tried 5 of the phoenix bottom coil 1.5 and 2 of the 3ml tank versions and got way more bad experiences then good ones (although when they do work they're amazing so I haven't brought myself to let go of the 2 1.5ml ones I have left), so I decided to try the extreme. I got the 2.5ml, and i've now vaped about 6ml's worth of juice in this thing and all I get is an awful unbearable chemical taste (not a dry or burnt taste). Kinda tastes like some sort of industrial chemical. I'm still pretty new at this so I'm not sure whats going on. I kept vaping and refilling because I figured it might be primer fluid but im not sure. Hopefully someone can help me figure out what the issue is

3yr Vaping Vet here & I still get jerked around on these "new" cartos. I too like the Vision Extreme... when they work. Luckily... my need to quit smoking is greater... than me throwing money away on crappy cartos. I've commented on the ratio of working cartos in other threads & most vendors don't care. My biggest issue is I buy 1 & it works great, so I buy 4 or 5 on my next order & only 1 or 2 of the 5 work. I'm praying that someone puts together some type of committee or testing or SOMETHING ! to help limit the cost, amount & effect of defective cartomizers purchased by us vapers. I'm starting to wonder if it would be that bad, if the government took over ? The only people I see it NOT hurting is the vendors. I personally DO NOT feel it should be expected to lose money just bcuz I vape. 3yrs & no one has done a thing about, looking out for the vaping consumer, that makes up the majority of the vaping community. So be prepared to lose a lot of money just bcuz you VAPE. So watch the videos, but be aware of when it was made. For example; if the video was made of the product (carto) out the box ? or was it made after a week or 2 of use. In case you haven't noticed, it is definitely NOT a good idea, to buy "new" cartos. The same carto can have 3 or 4 revisions, until they get it right, so being the first to have a "new" carto has consequences. And the most important rule of thumb for vaping is, if you have or find a cartomizer or vaping set up (atomizer, tank or dripping) that you know works for you, ALWAYS keep it at the ready. So if you buy a "new" cartos that by chance (yeah right) doesn't work or doesn't work the way you thought it would, you still have something that works. We all want a vape that's as easy as smoking was... ya know, just buy a pack & light up. 3 years & counting, still waiting for the easy part to set in... lol
