Good to know. I must have some copper wire around here somewhere. With the penny, it is slightly smaller than the tube. Sometimes I have to tap the tube to knock the penny against the inside of the tube to get contact. The wire would be better.

Forgot about this thread. I found some 12ga house wire, stripped it, bent it into a loop. Had some trouble getting the screw to work. Had to take the nut off. Took some adjustment to get the wire to push on the battery. Works a whole lot better now.

This is one of my daily devices. Fits well in a cell phone holder clipped onto my belt. With a small clearo it doesn't draw attention. 18350 lasts a little longer than an ego 650. Maybe some day we will get higher mah 18350s like the 18650s.
