So I was sitting here vaping with my newly charged vision spinner. Decided to change tank so I took it off gently and inserted the other one gently. Then the battery lighted up as normal, but not heating up anything. Switched back the tank and still not functional. Tried another battery and that was working. What could be the problem? Why does it stop working that sudden? :(

I tried putting it in the charger as well, and nothing happpens. No lights or blinks or nothing. Guessing it's dead? The fire light flashes just as normal. Shuts off after 8 seconds, flashes 5 times when turning on/off, everything seems normal, but it simply won't connect.

I was just switching tanks :( I loved the new battery and I've only been using the tank for a couple of days..

I'm almost sure form your description, it's the center pin. Try to wiggle it up a bit more. Pry a little, rotate, pry a little more, rotate... it only takes a fraction of a mm to make a difference.
I find it weird that should be the issue. I've never tightened it a lot, just enough to make a connection like always.

I did try and wiggle it A LOT, and I got afraid I'm gonna break the pin off when I read I should do it more and harder.

Many of use used Spinners for a long time, hell I still have 4 or 5 put away for backups. I had the same problem often and over tightening doesn't need to occur for the pin to work it's way down far enough to cause the problem. I would bet pretty good money that Princessdee is correct.

Work that pin up and see what happens. Once you fix it adjusting that pin will become part of your normal program ;)

And those pins won't break and are a lot longer then you think. I popped one out of mine and just pushed it back into the hole. I still have that spinner and it's still working. They are a tough little device.

But it looks like it's gonna break/fall off! I'm scared :p If it does, I will lose the guarentee.

It is a common issue.
It is the reason I use regulated mechs with adjustable center pin.

Before that, what I would do is just NEVER CHANGE TANK; but you can't do that with an ego type battery that has to charge from that same connector.

But that's what I used to do with my vamo's and zmax; I'd leave the tank/topper on permanently
