If it's a week old, then it's probably still under warranty. Contact the establishment that sold it to you and advise them of the problem and see what they have to say. I don't know anything about your equipment, but if you have a
vape store near you with competent employees, you might want to bring it there and see if they have suggestions. It may not be broken, it may be "stuck" in that mode somehow.... and someone may still be along with a magic solution for you.
But if that doesn't work, get a replacement product.
