Well I taste the burnt around 4.3 and 4.8v, but its the 2nd coil I have been through like that.

You may have mentioned this already, but what tank/coils are you using? I know I've seen plenty of instances with Kanger where people have had a whole pack of coils be bad. Haven't experienced that myself yet, though. I will say that I can't go above 3.8 on my Spinner with my Protank 3 Mini or I start getting a bit of a burnt taste.

I'm new and I can almost promise you that you have the voltage too high. I made this mistage early on too.

My understanding the rule of thumb is :

Only exceed the resistance of your coil by 2 volts.

Ex: if your coil is 1.5ohm resistance, only use up to 3.5 volts more or less. You can't just crank up the voltage for more vapor you'll ruin your coil.

I've not yet tried out a Nautilus, but I'm looking to get one so have been doing a lot of reading on them. The BDC coils seem to be hit or miss for most folks, but I'm hearing a lot of praise for the new BVC coils. May want to get your hands on a pack of those and see if that makes a difference for you.

Pull the post up on the battery and slowly screw onto charger

This is what I have had to deal with for months now. Every time I charge, and put on an atty I have to pull up the post and gently screw it on. Finally dicided to pack just a very thing slice of rubber underneath and it seems to work better.

Ill sell you mine for cheap! Its picky but it works!

My VS2 is a POS. Worked OK for about 5 weeks. When it worked it lasted no longer than a generic ego 900ma. Now it won't charge at all. Tried pulling up the center post, charging using usb and wall adapter, pushed the button quickly as was suggested. Nothing.

When it is first connected to a charger the power light starts blinking on the VS2 and the light on the charger is green. Left it doing this for 12 hours. When disconnected from charger the battery light does nothing when the button is pushed.

I'll stick with my Tesla Sidewinder 2.
