Vision Spinner adjustable voltage battery

I just purchased a couple of new Vision Spinner Adjustable Voltage batteries, and I was wondering if it is best to just put them on the charger straight out of the box, or if I should just use them until they are completely dead. In efforts of trying to have my batteries last the longest and work the best, what should I do with them right out of the box?

Charge them. Lithium batteries are happiest when they stay charged.

I wondered the same thing. I think I'm going to test this theory out and see which last longer.

AFAIK the new technology of battery cuts itself off before getting too discharged, so they don't get dead like an old torch battery used to. I believe they work down to around 3.2 volts, and are around 4.2 v when fully charged. I treat them like my cell phone (same technology I believe) ie let them run til they switch off as often as I can.

It makes no difference to the overall lifetime of your spinners if you use them straight out of the box or wait until they are fully charged to use them for the first time . Since it sounds like you've purchased more then one, start using one while you fully charge the other.

In a nutshell, as grandmato said above, it doesn't matter about your first charge.
