Vision Spinner II clone...

Be careful on Ebay. I bought 2 Vision Spinner II's, both from a different seller. One checks out(black) on Visions site, the other(red) doesnt. I contacted Vision to double check, and they said it(the red one) definitely is a clone. I contacted the seller, and well, ill just say it hasnt been pleasant. Seller will refund, and forgo his policy of return at buyers expense, but seems to want in exchange for refund me removing my feedback, yet seller will not amend auction to reflect that these are clones.

Hard to see, but the coloring of the top(and bottom) are slightly off. The black one(authentic) on the left is actually much darker tinted metal. The red one(clone) is more of a bright shiny metal.

This picture shows the flat base part of the top metal. Again hard to tell in pics, but the flat base is thicker on the black authentic one.

These next two pictures show the writing is very very similar, but placement is different.

Im not sure if it would be proper to list the sellers ID on here. But if anyone is interested, send me a PM and I will let you know the ID.

Interesting...I have a spinner II and the voltage writing is like in the red one, closer to the bottom and just above the line and it's authentic.

Now i'm a little worried i'll end up with a clone, haha. Hooray for unjustified anxiousness.

I'm glad that your getting a refund on your purchase, Dealing with ebay sellers can be a real hassle at times. I've had a few amazing experiences with sellers aswell though. Always get some good with your bad. (and vice versa )

Mine is from canvape as well and it checked out on Vision's site. They don't mention it's rebranded on canvape unlike other products so should be safe.

I always buy from local vape Stores. Most carry authentic products, and this way you have some degree of recourse if they sell you garbage. In this extremely competitive market, Vape Store wont want negative publicity. Always support you local Store as the vaping Community needs them to continue to help people stop smoking!

I would like to ask if you are 100% sure that the battery which is placed on the right is a fake? The red battery looks the same like a battery which I found on Vision's site so I am totally confused atm..
The battery situated on vision's site is the same like the red one which in pahick's opinion is a fake.. If you can please visit vision site to compare photos.

The red one being fake is not my opinion, it is fact. I emailed Vision with the code and they verified it to not be manufactured by Vision. Every Spinner II has a darker tint top and bottom metal, except one. The "stainless" silver Spinner II has a more chrome like finish. The thickness of the top metal is uniform with all Spinner II's. The red one in my picture is thinner than a genuine product.

As far as how it works, the on/off button is actually tighter on the fake. And the threading seems a little loose when putting on a clearo. Other than that I did not test for battery life or anything else.

I always get the ones with scratch codes . This way you can be sure it's genuine. The genuine ones come with the scratch codes anyway. I try and buy from a reputable vape store as well. I do have my clones but I bought them as clones. Then I have my real products which always have a scratch code for verification.

This red clone has a scratch code. I dont buy products that are clones, if I can help it. This was listed as authentic. Upon first opening the package from the USPS, it looked authentic. It was only after scratching the code and checking Visions site did I find it to be a fake. After emailing Vision and getting confirmation, I started looking at the difference's between the black one which was bought previously from another vendor.

Fakes/clones can be so good, even down to the finest details, such as including scratch codes. Its getting harder to tell the difference on some things.

This is interesting. My Vision Spnner II, which I bought from myfreedomsmokes, came in a little case and had a scratch-off sticker to verify the authenticity of the battery through Vision's site. It checks out fine. BUT, it looks exactly like the red on that you say is not authentic. What is going on here?

If you look on FastTech they have two stainless Spinner II style batteries... One has chrome head and dial, the other has dark chrome hardware like the authentic. Reading the comments it even does the three color battery levels.

Clone or Authentic, if you're a brand B*ˆ* you'll get in panic but the only way to know if it's a bad product or not is by electronic tests. Not every clone is distinguishable.
I, personally, don't care if it's a copy as long it is a good copy and gives the same performance as the original.

I wound say the copies if I got are very good hard to tell. Code Number. They could say Genuine, but it comes to the code number.

I got 3 genuines no codes # 3 different venders no code numbers to check. I must think that they are copies. But they all 3 work very well. One week for the average smoker I would say on one charge.

Can someone tell me wich are the real Vision site? I know two, and their both claim to be the real deal. Got two 1300 map Spinners yesterday, bought directly from visionsig DOT com . And both came without a scratching security code and no V markings between 3.3 and 4.8. So I have to guess what Voltage I,m vaping on. And the wheel spin a good way past the 4.8 marking.
If I have done something illegal to put an address on like this, I apologize and will remove if somebody tells me to.
