Hi K-T80, welcome to the forums.

The good thing about a spinner is you can set the voltage to match the resistance of the head. With a 2.2ohm head, I would usually vape that around 4 - 4.2 volts depending on the juice. Before you do what I mention below, try turning up the voltage see if that helps. I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but if you aren't putting enough voltage into the coil, it will not produce much vapor.

Now if that doesn't help, you might have a wicking issue. This is where not enough juice gets to the coil to vaporize.

If you feel up to it, you could try taking off the little metal chimney piece on the coil head - this will give you access to the coil. On top of it, you will see some wicks just sitting there. You could try to remove one piece of this and then reassemble it. This will allow more juice to flow to the coil. If you remove too much, you might get some flooding / gurgling issues. If this happens, put some back.

This video shows you how - it's easy if you can be bothered.

As for if a 1.8ohm atomizer will be better - not really. As I said, the spinner allows you to change the voltage to match the resistance of the coil.

Finally you might just have a bad coil head. It happens, but if you try the above steps and it still doesn't work, you might just want to replace it. My hunch is you just need to turn up the voltage.
