Hi all,

I have been using spinners for quite a while. After a year, I had one die on me, so I bought a new one to replace it ( I have a rotation of about 7 different ones I use).

I used the new one through 2 different charges and it was fine. Today, I used it again and my vape had a horrible burnt taste, so I chalked it up to needing a coil change, and just swapped on another tank. Well, the same thing happened again, and then again, and again. With 5 different tanks!

No matter how low I spin the dial, this battery seems to be burning as high as possible. Even on 3.3 volts, it's burning my vape.

What causes this? Is there a way to fix it? Thanks for the advice!

I purchased the battery on 10/20. Their website says batteries come with a 30 day warranty, so they should be able to replace it. I sent them an email this morning and will call if I don't hear from them by tomorrow.

I don't own a multimeter and may get one for the future. But I know this battery is seriously defective. My other spinners are functioning just fine.

With this one, it seems to burn high no matter what voltage it's on. I can vape with it at 3.3 and get a burnt hit and same results when I turn it to 4.8. It's really strange!

My other batteries are functioning normally and I am not having this issue with any other batteries.

I contacted the vendor today and of course there is a process. I have to send the battery back, and only after THEY determine it's defective will they send me a new one.

The thing is, the battery does work, but only at super high voltage. So, I hope they don't try to screw me over.

Wish me luck!

It should be OK SchmidtyKy. The Spinner doesn't change the voltage and that's defective. Good luck and let us know how it goes :thumb:

I can't say for sure but you might have a dud. I have two Vision Spinner II's and they work fine. Did you check it with a volt meter? If it is actually not changing the voltage you might try exchanging it. In any case, I would stop using it until you get it figured out. Safety.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's a dud. This is one of the original 1300 mah Spinners. I have 3 of the Spinner II's. But I like the originals, too. You know, even with being 1600 mah, I don't notice much difference in the battery life. Both versions last me about a day and a half. I kinda like the original 1300's better. I just like how they feel in my hand better (insert dirty joke here).
