I just got my first Vision Stone 3 in the mail from GotVapes, along with some tips and atomizers I ordered... I placed the order in the evening of the 26th, it shipped off on the 27th and I got it in the mail on the 30th. I have to say, I am IMPRESSED with the promptness with which my order was filled and shipped.... I didn't pay for priority shipping but got my package in 3 days, even over the weekend (today is Monday!)!! Thanks TONS!!!

I must say, I am liking this Vision Stone 3!! I was using cartomizers, then went to some CE2 XL Clearomizers but had issues with them leaking like mad and dying after a week or so of heavy use. I really like that I can order replacement innards for the VS3 instead of having to replace the whole thing once it dies on me. Speaking of it dying on me, can anyone point me in the right direction for care of my spiffy new VS3 so it will last as long as possible??? And, how long can I expect it to last until I need to do some surgery and replace the innards?

For the time being, until I can afford to get an eGo or <cue angelic music> ProVari </end angelic music>, I am stuck using this great piece of vaping genius on a crappy little automatic 510 from BluCigs. But it is working like a charm for the time being.... my juice is a JC (yeah, I know.... Johnson Creek has a horrible rap for burning out atomizers but YUM! Gonna be working on DYI juice soon enough), mixing a 50/50 PG/VG blend of their Cherry (PG) and Valencia (VG) flavors (very orange! yummy throat hit and taste!) and am happy with the flavor and hit AND vapor (amazing that anything hits all three factors for me, btw), so I realize that using JC juices might be giving my coils a premature death. Is there anything I can do to lessen the affect until I can start mixing my own juices, and getting a better battery?

Seeing as you are using a low-current battery (probably only 3.5V or lower under load), I would expect you will get great life out of the VS3 coil. I usually vape them at 4.1 to 4.3 volts and mine is still going strong after 35 days of constant use. I do clean the coil every two weeks or so. Some people recommend dry burning, but I've never had luck with doing that. I always get a burned taste afterwards and it seems to shorten the life.

I clean them by flushing in isopropyl alcohol with a small syringe. I then take an exacto knife and carefully scrape the char off the coil and flush out the particles. I then use one of those small between-the-teeth floss brushes with a tiny little brush on the end to remove any particles left after scraping with the knife. Flush again with alcohol, the rinse liberally with water. Dry the wick with a paper towel, reassemble and you're good to go.
