Not sure if this is the appropriate forum (mods/admins please move if necessary):

Happy 4th of July to everyone in the US.

Just to let you guys know, I have recieved my Vision Victory tank 5ml capacity clearomizer from Litecig.

Kudos to Litecig for the rapid delivery.

Note: Litecig has since mysteriously removed the words "glass" and "pyrex" from the product description page.

Is it glass?

I'm not an expert, I did run my teeth over it and also tapped it with a piece of metal to listen for the distinctive high-pitched "clink" of glass. Did the same for a Kanger T3 and my Protank. The product did sound higher in pitch than the T3. Which indicates it may indeed be made of glass, though quite thin. A detailed laboratory analysis would determine the exact material makeup.

Is it Pyrex?

Without a laboratory analysis, it would be difficult to determine if the material is indeed heat resistant borosilicate glass or tempered soda-lime glass. According to the earlier posters, however, it is NOT pyrex!

It does not appear to be anywhere near as thick as the Protank and certainly not as durable. The metal parts of the body (according to an ECF member) are said to be stainless steel. I cannot confirm this though.

I must say while I applaud Litecig for removing these terms from the product description, I am quite upset that they had advertised it as something it does not appear to be. To me this is a slap in the face to vaping community and is unethical at the very least. Part of the reason I purchased one was because they indicated it was PYREX!

All of this being said, I have yet to fill it up and vape with it. I do like it, though, being a fan of clearomizers. If it does not leak, and vapes well, and has heads which are interchangeable with the Protank or the Evod, it is probably worth the money. But I will await Phil's impression/review of it, as I am just a newbie vaper. I'd think on top of an 18650 battery, it would be sufficient to drain the tank.

Mine came wrapped in bubble wrap with a single included head. Not sure of the resistance. Like the Protank, the mouthpeice is fused to the body of the tank.

Thanks to Phil (Pbusardo) and Grimm Green for their assistance. The vaping community is lucky to have them.

I bought one & really like it alot, compared to the Evod on its perfect day, the Victory out performs without a problem on its bad day even, why? maybe because of the better build & better seal it has overall, small tip makes it easy to vape & not even much bigger then a evod, smaller then a MT3 I would say but larger amount of e-juice, I have never seen a Glass version, as glass is simple to tell. everyday use is perfect for this very strong plastic. the metal bends before the plastic breaks ;) So all this said I see that the victory added a small plastic washer inbetween the rubber that is over the coil seems that when I tried this with 2-3 plastic washers the evod seals alot better & I can leave it up side down & never leaks. so in my collection of tanks I think I have 15-20 Evod's - now none will ever leak again... Cheers

I would like to find a glass version tho, if there is one. every site that has said it was glass has removed this from there site. Please let me know by pm if you are for sure about who has a glass version if there is one.
