Just a public service announcement. The new plastic in the 2.5 still leeches and cracks with some juices. I cracked 2 over the last week with mtbakervapor mountain dew and arnold palmer juice. They don't haze up badly but they crack at the base of the threads. The drip tip also melts pretty quickly although I think they are unchanged from the old version. It's kind of disappointing as I enjoy these juices. I use vivis pretty exclusively now so I guess I'll have to live without these types of flavors. I do have a metal vivi with an aluminum drip tip but I worry about the small "rubber" spacer just above the atomizer and the O ring on the drip tip breaking down into the juice.

Ditto! I bought two Vivi Nova STV's and realized when I got them that it didn't solve the problem I face with tanks when vaping my beloved banana. I suppose I'll have to break down and just use it with glass carto tanks.
You can buy a metal sleeve for the vivi nova -- there's no plastic to crack/fail on you. The sleeve replaces the plastic tube (doesn't go over it). I know madvapes carries them but I'm sure you can find them elsewhere...
Perhaps, but that still leaves the issue of the seal at the bottom of the atomizer head that creates the seal between it and the top of the center post, and the ring at the top of the atty...
