After huge pain with ego T and clearomizers which allows leaks and give burnet taste, I have chance to try Viva Nova with my new EVic, I really enjoined vaping with it.

I'm planing to place order for regular and mini Viva Nova but when i searched I found model looks same as Viva Nova named DCT tanks.

Please... Any advise on which is better. I'm vapingl very heavily accordingly I need something give nice vapor and good taste, also it could last longer than clearomizer.

I used DCT tanks when I first started vaping. I got tired of cartos always having thee burnt taste or grabbing my dct by accident and slipping off the carto. So I found the Viva Nova and Kanger t2 and bought both. I didn't care much for the Viva and stuck with the T2. Replacement heads are cheaper. Ivape.net or surevapes sells them in 5 pack for around $5. I been using T2 for about 3 months. Haven't really used anything else in awhile. I suggest buy a Viva and a kanger and see which one is better to you. Sidenote: I hardley ever have leaking problems with my T2 but in the Viva it would leak here and there.

For carto tanks the Smokteck DCT is scraping the bottom of the barrel, but before you splurge on a good tank I would suggest that you try a few cartos to see if you like them. A cartomizer will work the same with or without a tank. Be sure to read up on how to fill a carto.

Vivi Novas are a very easy system to use. Just be sure to get a Vision Vivi Nova, and not some knock off that may or may not work well.
Here is a list of places to get them.

    Thanks gentlemen for support.

I'm using cartomizer and I like them but they are not practical for me since I vape very heavily ( time wise).

I read about kanger T3 but frankly, I didn't understood the difference between bottom and top coil, I thought kanger is same as clearomizer c4 or 6 but with bottom coil then if I got them I will face same problem with C4 clearomizers.

I believe it is a good idea to give a kanger a try and I will go far from DCT.

The Vivi Nova actually has it's lovers and haters. I personally am loving it. Though I don't use them currently because i use a Genesis style atomizer, I still swear by them, and they are very easy to rebuild if you have looked over that part :)

I was thinking for buying Genesis but I got advise not because it is very hard to let work probably. Is this true? I'm willing to invest for a good brand with tank.

I agree with everything in tj99959 Post #4. Mini Vivi Novas are very easy to use while carto+ tank has a learning curve. If you're going to buy a carto tank I would also suggest you spend the extra on quality. I like the Vivi for its quality, ease/ low cost of maintenance, and long life of the heads.

what would you suggest as a "quality" carto tank though? I have zero experience with those, but am willing to learn!

A Genesis style atomizer is a tank which uses a stainless steel mesh rolled into a wick that feeds the wick from the tank to the coil. It is also rebuildable.
Although it is one of the best vapes i have ever had, it is true that it won't be easy to set it up right. People take weeks or even months to get to where they enjoy it vastly. It took me 2 days since the day i got it. So it depends on how you build it, i was just patient and somehow lucky. And as it is a rebuildable, I won't recommend it for beginners. But if you are willing to go to that path, I advise you to look at the forums here, acquire some knowledge on how to build it, and where to buy one.

I have a Mini DID clone, which i bought for about 11 USD (converting that from our local currency) and it is a good genny for starters that I would recommend as it is cheap. Another Genesis I would recommend is an AGA-T+ as it is only less than 30 USD and has been discussed here in this forum widely on how to build it which will help you to rebuild your own. Good luck!

I thought they will be much more expensive, Where I can find such reasonable price. Please let me know.

once I saw on Chinese site a model clone for Odysseus but I can remember the site, they said it is a replica for the original one, I thing it not mesh type but it is good rebuildable tank atomizer.

I use the cheap smoke tech carto tanks (DCT Tanks) and love them. I bought one just to try before buying a nicer one but I liked it so much that I just never needed a nicer one. I have been using them for about 8 months or more now.

I think I got 2 of hem with ego v6 but I never used them because I found tank is loose and can slip from cartomizer easily. I don't know if this is normal or not but I was afraid to use them because I thought juice will leak easy from them. The model I got with ego v6 don't use regular cartomizer I have because the cartomizer I have don't have flange in the bottom.
