So, I'm pretty new to the whole vape scene and I've been using a pair of Vivi Mini Novas for about two/three weeks now. I just tore 'em apart and replaced the heads on them. So I fire up one of them after a good clean and it works great. However, the other worked amazingly well, even better than the first but now it makes a very loud pop noise when I take a vape from it. I tested the heads earlier on a multimeter, read back at 2.5 ohms, and then again on a friend's Provari to test for shorts and to get a confirmation on the resistance and it checked out okay.
So when I was installing this popping head, I noticed it looked different at the connection point than the other one, but it fit into the post just the same and height wise its slightly shorter (millimeters or less even) but I figured it to be just a knockoff head or something seeing as it didn't have the resistance etched into the metal. Maybe it's for another tank and I took a bigger risk than I should have maybe? I'll attach a picture of the original head and the replacement one. The "popper" is the one on the left.
Other than that, any ideas why its making this loud noise and is it okay to use?
