Another Kanger T3 user bites the dust... Been fighting the battle with my Kanger T3s for what seems like forever... Constant flooding, gurgling, dead heads, dry hits, etc, etc, etc... Finallly broke down and popped on one of the ViVis I had and what a difference!! No problems; just tons of vapor and delicious flavor!

And, to make it a fair comparison, I poured the remaining half tank-full from the T3 I'd been using right into the ViVi so I'd be able to tell if there was any direct difference between the two... Same juice, but what a difference in taste and vapor production!! I'm sold on the ViVi --- at least until I feel comfortable enough to try an rba... ;)

I agree! I've been using a vivi nova for 2 months and have never had anything go wrong with it - ever. My wife has been using a mini vivi nova for over a month because she likes the fact that she just fills and uses. It rides in her purse, sideways/upside down/etc. and it has never leaked. I clean them both once per week or less and we both use 3-5 ml juice per day.

I have my first 2.5s in the mail might even arrive today! I fell in love with the mini that I have and realize that my dry hits were the result of too high voltage for the head I was using. The flavor and vapor production is great. I do have a pro tank on the way so I can compare, but I hardly think I will be disappointed with my Novas even if I do like the pro.

I must be the only person on this forum who hasn't had luck with the vivi nova. I've tried every ohm head and voltage but still cannot get it to work consistently...I'm always getting dry burnt hits idk what I'm doing wrong ...

I'm a heavy VG vaper, but recently put some 80% PG juice in my Nova tank to vape. I know this goes against the consensus here on the forums, but I found that PG dries up much quicker when chain vaping and leaves me with frequent dry hits on my Nova. VG, on the other hand, sort of 'coats' the wick, and therefore I rarely ever get a dry hit using 80%VG juices.

To the OP - good stuff branching out. I've been a Nova user since I started simply because I haven't felt the need to branch out. I have a protank coming in the mail and am excited to finally branch out. Vape on.

I use 70/30 vg/pg :(

Hmm. Well there are a few other options. When the tank is half-empty, its a good idea to sort of tilt the tank before each hit to saturate the wicks near where they enter the coil head. This ensures you don't get dry hits.

Your heads could be gunked up. Simply take apart the device, rinse everything out with water, and take a look inside the coil after removing the little silicone piece that rests on top of the head. If you cannot clearly see the coils, than it is gunked up. You need to dry burn the coils to get rid of that residue gunk inside the coil, which is preventing you from getting a clean hit.

To dry burn, screw the head (without the silicone cap) onto the atomizer (the metal center piece) and put this onto your device (just these two - no tank/top cap/drip tip). Fire the device at low voltage for 2-3 second bursts in a dark room until the coils glow orange. Afterwards, rinse the head out again with hot water and let air dry. But the device back together and it should taste much better.

Another thing that could be happening is loose connectivity where the head screws into the atomizer. This happens occasionally when I screw the mouth piece off of the device. It will sort of 'grip' the silicone cap and unscrew the head a tad bit on the way out. When you screw your mouth piece back onto the tank, be sure the head is screwed on tight to the atomizer and check it again once the mouth piece is screwed into place. Just look through the tank at the seam between the head and the atomizer and make sure its sealed flush.

Besides those issues, I can only think of ohms/volts, which you said is taken care of. Hope this helps. Worst case scenario, maybe you have a knockoff that is just getting a bad airy draw?
