If you have a meter, check the resistance at the bottom of the vivi (I'm assuming the ego works with other cartos). It may just be a bum coil. Otherwise it sounds like the vivi is not making contact with the battery. If you have a 510 -510 shorty adapter available, try that. I've found they help a lot with flakey connections with all sorts of cartos, tanks, attys, etc...

Right I poked the centre pin in the battery managed to get it working great until the battery ran out, put another battery on same issue, tried poking the centre pin in the battery up made no difference, poked the centre pin in the Vivi down made no difference, put the battery back on that I had working with the vivi now not working again. This thing is so unreliable.

Don't let it get you down.
Most times it's the pin connection.

I no longer use my Vivi because it was hit or miss.
Once I fill up I want to be able to vape and go- not troubleshoot a tank.

I had a similar issue with my Vivi and it was the connection to the post with the atty/coil assembly. A previous poster had mentioned not to screwdriver tighten it, but I've had good luck just getting it more-snug than hand tightening. I've no longer had an issue when taking the top off to fill that my atty connection becomes suspect.

one last thing for you to check in the future is to dry burn the coils before you fill. My guess is that somehow you have a shorted / bum coil. Can you rebuild the atty on it and try it again with a new micro?
