I guess my Vision Vivi Nova v2.5 mini has done well because I vape 100%pg and 80pg/20vg pretty much exclusively. I've gone through more juice since I started using a Vivi Nova than I ever did with cartos.

Is the Kanger T3 out yet? Pbusardo seems to like it. He removed one of the 3 stacked wicks and says it vapes Boba's Bounty just fine with the bottom coil design. Alibaba has it for sale, but no stateside vendor is showing it on their sites yet.

Ok my end all to the vivi nova
stress, it just wont perform

now---
I have found the holy grail

sterile gauze thin rolled into a small circle placed thinly across top of 1.8 coil
w/ factory wick left in place; just set up there to help wick and boy does it help
like a whole new unit

think of it as a cartomizer filling
it opens up vapor and flavor so clean
it has renewed my subscription to the vivi

I rewrapped a 6 coil 2.2~ all 6 lit etc.. no happy effect, the wick could not keep up unless direct dripped...
without the drilling mod, this mod has been superior
and uber easy duh moment
so huge/clean tasting i cannot believe it

I found removing the cotton/silica insert that was around the coil in between the walls had the greatest measure of enchancement for the nova head.

I have two that I've re-wicked with some cotton, the first the insert was burned and came out easily when I pulled the stock wick out. I didn't know if it would be positive or negative, but it came out hitting like a champion (better than a new head). So I "rebuilt" (changed wicks) my second head, but it was brand new so the insert didn't need to come out. I went to use that new head today and hit it like crap comparitively. The only thing that was different between the two was that insert. I took it out and the heavens opened up in the nova.

Remove the insert, give it a good tug if on a new head but be careful not to warp the coil.

The odd thing is that the cotton doesn't burn as quickly as the silica did, but when it does it's easy to remove and replace while cleaning the heads at the same time!

I have to do this till I get some wire and steel mesh. Can't wait to rebuild them, because 3-5 dollars a pop is kinda expensive. They seem to gunk up quickly.

I've just started to rebuild my atty on the Vivi nova and I've found that using 10mm lamp silica wick by means of unwrapping the plait and using the unwrapped wick to rebuild with. I've found that the juice flows a lot better up straight lines than by traveling through the plait of say a standard 2-3mm plaited wick.Hope this makes sense.
I used a small wool darning needle to wrap my coil round the wicking material + needle when put together. Then i just withdraw the needle and sit it in the base head. Just trim the wick down to the required length afterwards and you are good to go. I get loads of vapor production using this method and the coils last me a few weeks too.
