One of my vivi nova tanks has been leaking on me. It makes a gurgling sound and has some small leaking issues through the bottom where it screws into the device. It's not an issue with being over filled, all of the caps are screwed in snugly. It makes a gurgling sound when I take a draw on it, I blow out the excess liquid into a napkin and it's fine for a few vapes then it begins all over again. Any ideas?

Remove the drip tip and look in and see if the silicon gasket is flush or has flopped into the hole. When they get worn they will flop in which causes leaking. Once fix is to pop the silicon gasket, remove the metal piece, put it back in upside down, put the gasket back in with flat metal part down and rescrew. If you throw out a coil head always keep the gasket so you can use when another gets worn out. One of my VVN now has this coil head on it and I think it works better:

5pc Coil unit for CC (Coil Changable) clear cartomizer / clearomizer - 510/eGo Cartomizer Heaven Gifts

you just need to be careful and watch it because the top silicon gets a little scarred when screwing it on/off; have done 3 refills so far and still working, no leaks

If the gasket on the head is seated properly, you can remove the egg from the drip tip itself, insert it into the metal top cap, beveled end down. Push it down so that it is flush with the bottom of the metal cap - but the cap on a table and push the egg down until it stops. Put the drip tip back in, screw the cap back on and you're good to go. It'll add an extra layer of silicon to the top where things can begin messing up. Once I started doing this I've had no leaks and I lay my pv on its side all the time.

The post part where the atomizer head screws in and the base part that screws onto the battery are press-fit together. The post can get out of alignment with the rest of the assembly, allowing juice to get past the silicone gasket on top of the head and flood the atomizer.

If you take the top screw cap off and look straight down into the assembly, the post should be right in the center. If it isn't, you'll need to tweak it a bit to fix it.
If the post is centered correctly, the top cap makes a seal with the silicone piece, only allowing juice to come through where the wick is.

First time I noticed that the base and post were two separate pieces is when I dropped it, and it wound up way off center. I carefully tweaked it while still attached to the battery until it was right in the middle again.

I haven't had a silicone cap wear out on me yet, but I keep all the parts when rebuilding or replacing the head just in case.

*edit* best way to see if you're out of alignment is to simply take off the drip tip and look down into the tank. You should see the silicone cap right in the middle of the hole, with no gaps.
