Vivi Nova problems after a couple of weeks of use. (Leaking + hard draw).

I bought two of them and they seem to be giving me grief lately at the two week mark of using them.

First problem is that the bottom is leaking into the battery. It's not leaking through the threads on the tube and bottom of the unit. Ive made sure that's secure.

But they're actually leaking into the battery itself from the adapter area that goes into the battery and touches the heating element.I discovered initially that was the cause of the heavy draws I was getting. Noticing that it was making a gurgling sound and wondering where it could be coming from. I've taken apart one unit, have dissembled and reassembled it. Made sure the air holes weren't blocked but it's still giving me too heavy a draw.

I put on the second unit tonight and noticed that it was also leaking into the battery. The draw was fine at first but it also began gurgling. Likewise I took the Vivi Nova off the battery, cleaned out the leaking ejuice. Put it back on. At this point I'm not sure why this is happening but it's only began to happen recently. I've been cleaning them about once every 3 days.


My guess is that when they are laying horizontally the e-liquid leaks down from the coil area into the battery. From what I gather this also seems to be a common problem with clearomizers.

I wondered if there are any tanks/clearomizers that don't have these problems?

I have a Mini Nova and 2 regular Nova's. The regular ones leak if you lay them on it's side for a while. Not a single leak from my Mini.

my nova mini has never had a wee on the battery.. Sometimes I get some juice up top if laid on the side for an extended time (24hrs or so sometimes less wth higher PG juice) but overall never had a drop on the battery.

(heavy draw issue) Have you soaked them in alcohol ? there could be build up on the metel piece that fits into the rubber gromet on the head,

Agree on the mini novas. I have two and they never leak. Bone dry.

Gurgling is almost always a sign that you have a juice leak into the center hole. You will need to find out how it's getting in.

Still using THE SAME 1.8 OHM HEAD SINCE NOV. 5TH on the Vision VIVI MINI.
NO leaks, no issues......getting mad.......i would like to rebuild.
Kanger T2, same thing ........No leaks, no issues.......just clean before first using .....replacement heads also.

Vivi Nova Mini is the least leaking clearo I've used. Although, I do make my own coil assembly as the factory setup tastes bad and the first one leaked a bit on me. I know rebuilding is not for everyone, but for me it makes all this worth it.

The mini leaks less because of the threading design... the tube is inside the steel and not the other way around of the 3.5

You should try the Kanger T2. I have been using these for a couple months and I have NEVER had one leak on me except for a couple cases of user error. They have better flavor than the Nova's and have replaceable heads for pretty cheap. Avoid the Kanger T3's though.
