Ya, My Nova is a juice hog!

I'm one of the lucky ones with no leaks, great flavor (I actually thought my cartos were muted) and zero dry hits (as long as I keep the wicks wet when the tank is low!) .. But ya, they burn through juice like there is no tomorrow. And I have no idea why that is either :-(

Def agree with you on the muted flavor on cartos. Thats why I switched and i'm loving the vivi setup. It's just annoying cuz I love VV's organic juices , but stuff aint cheap.

This is my theory which may not be correct, but I think the juice just goes into your mouth when you inhale. I am noticing a lot of juice consumption from my CE 2 style tank cartomizers. I also have a Vivi Nova and a Stardust and they also go through juice quickly. I think it is just nature of the beast. But I also notice way better flavor from the nova/stardust/ce2 carto then with a regular catromizer which is something I can live with. But I also mix my own juices to save money.

I am never without my PV for more than 20 mins at a time and I know I vape a lot but I am blasting through liquid far faster than I ever did with ego tanks or carts. I am also getting much more vapor. I estimated about 2-3 mls a day at about 16mg using carts and ego tanks and now i seem to be averaging about 5-6mls 16 mg with clears and a mini nova tank. It's not that big of a deal because I am not funding a $5+ a day habit but the question rolling around in my head is... How much of that increased vapor is being absorbed? I know this isn't a question that can be answered because of lack of studies but I can't help but think that our lungs can only take in and absorb so much and therefore most of the vapor/liquid ends up going to waste on the exhale using clearos, tanks and similar products. Thus, making the clarification on how much mic we actually absorb that much more difficult to calculate.

I am the reason I use more juice in my vvn. It is convenient. Mine do not leak. They are functioning perfectly (for me). I don't need to drip or think or anything. I just grab it and vape.

I use cotton wicks in my vvn and the flavor of my juice is great. I don't think the wicks that come with the vvn produce great flavor. If you rebuild your own wicks, you might want to look into cotton. ymmv

vivi's are juice pigs and rob flavor, just the way they are...i still use them cuz i haven;t found anything that's easier and hits as well (i can't stand carto tanks).

I haven't tried carto tanks because so far my experience with cartos has been really blah. I am using smoketechs both single and double coil and I am really not that happy with them. Particularly the dual coils. The hit is too harsh, dry and produces very little vapor for me. I understand that they crackle a lot but they also pop (sounds like poppers you throw on the sidewalk on the 4th of july.) I am still toying around with them but am apprehensive about going the tank route just yet. If I do I think I am going to stick with single coil. I might also be blowing through juice because I am using a 50/50 mix maybe if I up the VG % it might last longer. vaping is so much more trial and error than I initially wanted to deal with but I guess them's the breaks.

Seriously considering going the carto tank route, but still apprehensive as I have been vaping these smoketek cartos and nothing I put in them has any flavor whatsoever. Why do you hate cargo tanks? Most people seem to love them other than the occasional leak here and there.

You might be pleasantly surprised.

More than a few people have said that the Viv-Nova is a juice hog and mine is too. I get great vapes from it but I go through almost twice as much juice in it as opposed to a DCT. One thing I have noticed on my Vivi-Nova is that I can fill it, set it down and thirty minutes later the level has dropped down one line. No leaking or flooding, just juice disappearing for some reason.
