Vivi Nova Leaking Question?

Hello all,

I recently got a Vivi Nova 2.5ml and am using it on an Ego C Twist. Since Im a student I keep all of my devices in my bookbag. I was just wondering if the liquid in the nova would drip out if i have it in my bookbag? With the stock drip tip on it, it seems that liquid shouldnt drip out of it, but just being precautious i put my Ego in a zip lock bag. So would the Nova leak if it is in my bookbag and is titled/upside down? Obviously I would try my best to avoid it being upside down. Thanks for the help!

Only one way to find out...and that's to try it...From personal experience, I'd like to say No...but I've never carried one around in a Bookbag. Hubby still uses the Nova's and always has two tanks going...when he leaves the house, he always puts one in his Jean pockets, and so far, never has leaked on him...but he doesn't have it in his pockets for very long.

I've been using the same Vivi Nova for the past 3 months and it hasn't leaked a drop. I put it in my pants pocket, in cup holders, rolling around counters and desks. My wife has a vivi Mini and it rides in her purse and hasn't leaked a drop either.

I'm not saying all Vivi's are leak free. It's probably a good idea to keep it in a plastic baggie if there is any question.

If you look at the replacement heads for the Vivi Nova, do they look like the ones on the left with the flat top, or the ones on the right with the pointy top?


I ask because the ones on the left are the Vision brand and the ones on the right are Smoktech brand. I have heard quite a few complaints with the Smoktech brand but not so much with the Vision brand. I personally have a Vision brand Mini Vivi Nova and pretty always have it laying on it's side and I have even accidentally put it in my pocket upside down and never has it leaked.

Good then leaking should not be an issue. The only time it might be is when there is a sudden change in air pressure due to either altitude change or temperature change. Then again this causes pretty much anything to leak.

I've had 7 mini vivi novas and always used the vision brand heads. And I've not had a single leak, not one, not ever, not even a drop.
