Ok. So I see on the vendor sites an optional metal sleeve for the vivi nova. It comes in different colors. Assuming that it takes the place of the plastic tank & not just a cover for the vivi nova tank.
My question is:
Is this aluminum? Does it react with any juices in any way? I would prefer it to plastic, but not looking forward to a chemical reaction with ejuice.
Requesting comments from those who have used this metal piece.
Thanks in advance.

IF you are talking about the Vision ST Vivi Nova. Where It looks like a metal tank with a window. I've been looking at them and the best I can tell it uses the standard plastic tank but has a metal sleeve that fits over the plastic. One problem i had with the big Vivi Nova was the plastic cracked where it threads onto the bottom of the tank. I know folks that have melted that plastic on the Vivi. IT is less apt to do that than say a clearo. The metal sleeve is just a cover. IMO I don't see how that will help with reactions to juice or the stress crack problems. It may help if the sleeve is very tight and will not allow the plastic to move or flex and crack from stress. That metal sleeve will have no effect on juices that melt or crack tanks. They do make an all metal tank that is aluminum that works well you just don't get to see when you run out of juice. For me I see no use in getting that sleeve option as it does not solve all the problems. I've made suggestions to a couple of web sites that they make a glass tank for them. They said they were considering it but that it would be expensive.
Looks like another beta test. IMO
I have moved to the metal tanks my VIvi's. That is the original Vision vivi nova not the ST.
Don't get me wrong I stil love the VIVI but they need to do something diff on the tank like glass. The ST IMO mostly for show.

The metal tanks work well with juices that etch the plastic Novas. They make the metal tanks for both sizes of Novas.

Not being able to see how much juice is left or how much you have put in is a pain but I just keep filling until I see the liquid. I normally burn about 1 tank a day, so I wash/rinse/repeat :)
