I'm loving the Vivi Nova so far. I had way more issues with burnt flavor from the occasional polyfil burning taste from the carto/tank setup. Not a burnt tasting hit from the Vivi yet. And oh man are they easier to fill/maintain/change flavors without wasting juice.

This is what I'm after

Sorry to hear that. I'm putting about 5.4 watts into mine and getting excellent results (3.9V and 2.8 ohms). If this is your first time with the VN, maybe give it some time to get used to it. I wasn't thrilled with the flavor initially, although it wasn't bad, just seemed muted. That seemed to pass though. Now when I try a regular carto, I dislike the flavor from it.

Hope it works out.

i just cleaned the entire thing and put the 1.8 back in it. I'm gonna tape a whole tank to see if it changes. thanks

I don't have MAP Tank but I do use CE2 Clearos in a DCT, Arry and Torpedo Tank. I've also have a V1 and V2.5 Vivi Nova.

IMO the Vivi V1 was decent at best. Never got any dry hits from it but the flavor was muted no matter what I tried, rebuilding the coil and wick, modding the gasket, widening the wick slot, nothing helped. Comparing the V1 against a CE2 in a tank, well there is no comparison, go with the CE2/Tank combo.

The Vivi V2.5 was a very pleasant surprise, it's been awesome since the first vape, consistent and great flavor. I haven't modded or replaced the coil yet, don't need to. It hasn't leaked a drop, no gurgling from condensation or liquid getting in the center tube, wicks great as long as it's tilted when the tank starts getting low but that goes for just about all the fillerless types. The performance is comparable to my CE2/Tank combos and it's easier to clean and fill.

Hope that helps

what ce2/tank combo do you use and what main PV do you use them on?

thanks.

I use CE2 Clearomizers aka Fluxomizers in 3 different tanks, a Dual Core Tank, Arry Tank and Torpedo Tank. The Arry Tank is easiest as it's made for Cleros. For Clearos to work with the DCT and Torpedo Tank I have to replace the stock o ring on the clearo to a thicker one. I prefer the look of the Torpedo Tank and the Arry holds the most liquid so they get used the most.

I have and use several PVs, I don't really have a main one. I've built some in plastic enclosures, have a few wood mods and a few metal tubes. They are all variable voltage or variable wattage which is a requirement for me personally.
