Vivi Nova question

Today I re-wicked and coiled my first atty head for my nova. When I tested it with my meter it was between 2.2-2.4 ohms. I put the tank back together and filled it with my favorite liquid and let it sit for about a half hour. I screwed it onto my ego c twist at 4.2v and it tasted horrible. It wasn't a burnt taste but very harsh and the vapor felt more warm than usual. Then I tried it on my regular ego 650 battery and it wouldnt fire, the light just flashed and went out. What did I do wrong here?

Is there anyone that can help me out? I tried re wicking 2 more heads and they aren't working either. I had 3 new heads left that I haven't used yet and both were just giving me a Burt taste. I have one left and don't have the cash to order a couple I heads plus if I did they wouldn't get here until around Tuesday. I am in desperate need of getting these heads rewicked and working. Also I forgot to mention that I have fiberglass wick and the white peaches and cream to make the cotton wicks. For the coil I have 32 kanthal

I don't know if will help, Meter the completely assembled head and base to see if the head is shorting on the base.

The ohms sound about right... Dunno why it will fire on the twist and not the 650? thats odd....

It sounds like you either have a short somewhere, or you have hotspots. Did you dry fire it to see if theres any hotspots before filling her up?

Try pulling the post up on the 650 battery. For burnt taste, turn the voltage down until it goes away. I've found that for me at least, VNs just don't like higher voltages. I've never been able to happily vape them in the 4V range.
