Vivi Nova re-wick question

Hey everyone! I've been using the vivi nova now for about a couple months. I ditched the silicone wicks for cotton and wrapping them with 32ga kanthal. The only question I have is how often are others changing them out? Mine seem to last about 3 days before I notice a drop in vapor production, throat hit, and taste. Waiting on a co-op for SS mesh to see if that lasts longer..

I'm using cotton cheesecloth wicks in my Vivi Novas and my Penelopes. I usually re-wick/re-coil about every other tank-full. Depends somewhat on the juice; thinner and lighter juices may go three, thicker and darker juices may only go one.

I re-wick mine about once a week with organic unbleached cotton yarn and 32awg Kanthal. I'm using my own DIY liquids 70pg/30vg and ~7%flavor from TFA. I did notice that the pre-made stuff I have gunk up the coil much faster. I'm not sure why, I'd guess it's sweetener because I don't us any for DIY.

All depends on the juice, and if vv, the voltage. Some juices will take my cotton coils down in 3 or 4 ml. Some juices will allow me 20 ml or better; usually want to switch off flavors by then anyway. I never clean my cotton wicks, just throw them away and put in a new one. Using cotton yarn they are so cheap and easy to make. I keep a dozen or so prewound and ready to install, so in a few minutes I can rebuild a week's supply. Overall, in the vivi it works so much cheaper, faster, and wicks better than mesh.
