Vivi nova rebulding question

I realised that when i used a cotton as wick, i dry burned it. Maybe that was what caused the bad taste

Becareful. I rebuilded my Eternity once with cotton wick. The whole coil caught fire when I was testing the coil.

So far i have tired to recoil my vivi nova with nichrome 32 awg if i'm not wrong it got 2.4,3.0,1.6 ohms and tried all of them with cotton wicks and cotton gauze so far i don't find much difference with them. but i read so many reviews that cotton taste better. Is it just me or i did something wrong or used wrong cotton wicks?
