Vivi Nova Tank issue

I just tried the Viv Nova tank about 3 weeks ago and loved it!! I finally had to change the head on it. I bought the 3.2 omh head and cleaned it out and replaced the head. When I put it back together the center pin coming out the 510 connection poked out and was not flush to the bottom of the 510 connection. It does work on my Lavatube but just wondering if that was right.

In general, most problems with center pins is that they get depressed on some batts to where they don't connect with others.... then you have to pry them up a bit. Sometimes however, if it is sticking out too much, screwing it on a batt will make it 'travel' sideways to where it can short out against the outer rim (the other electrode/terminal). I've had this happen with vision stardusts and it was bad for the battery :- ) It should be about flush with the rim but sometimes just a bit higher seems to be ok for most batts.
