We use all 3 heads with ours depending on which juice we are using. The lower the ohms the less voltage you generally need and less power used up.

For a new juice we start with a low voltage and slowly turn it up to find the sweet spot for either of us. Using the 1.8ohm we start on 3.2volts and with the 2.8ohm we start at 4 volts.

Just curious, what vv did you get? They do say that once you go vv, you never go back. I think you will be better pleased with those higher-resistence atties on a vv.

I am going to get the Apollo with the 30% discount it makes it about $55 with free shipping I think. Ordering it next week.

I apparently like really warm vapor (bordering on burnt) because I'm using the 1.8 ohm head on my vivi nova at around 4.5V on my Twist (which is right at the current limit). The 2.4 Ohm head kinda needed to be pegged at 4.8V to work at all for me.

The awesome thing about VV is that you can adjust it to your taste instead of someone else's recommendation.

Considering how weak ego batteries are (apart from the twist), I don't think I'd even try one of the other heads. But, again, I apparently like things running pretty hot, and you might be different.

I was just thinking the same thing.
I bought a mini vivi nova. I put a 1.8 ohm head in it and I'm using it on an eGo twist set to 4.8 volt.
I use tobacco flavored juices, so the warm vapor really makes the difference.
So far I haven't noticed any burnt taste, but we'll see.

It really pumps out the vapor!
Looking at the juice usage of this setup, it reminds me of having a motorhead car.
It performs and its enjoyable, but you can watch the fuel level drop :)
