I have rebuilt about 10 coils w/ cotton wicks on the vivis.
The last one, when I tested it, lit up the tube under the coil like it was gonna blow up. Like a mini-fireball. And the coils did nothing. I tapped the power button a few times quickly to see what was going on but couldn't figure it out. I took it apart and all looked normal. Legs didn't appear to be touching each other. Coil wraps evenly spaced. However, one of the legs did heat through the silicone grommet a little bit. Weird.
Uh, be careful I guess.
