If anyone could help it would be great. Got a vmax and when I put the battery in the led comes on and counts down (999,888,777,666,555,444,333,222,111) then goes off. When you press the button it says (lo) and the light in the button flashes quite a few times and it goes off. That's all it does when you press the button. Not sure what's happening.

What battery are you using in your Vmax?

Excellent point. This is from the LiteCigusa web site:

Smoktech VMAX Stainless Steel Variable Voltage APV

The Smoktech VMAX Variable Voltage Vaporizer.

The VMAX is adjustable from 3.0v to 6v in .1v increment.

The built in display will display output voltage, battery remaining voltage, atomizer resistance, power on/off, and LED on/off.

The Smoktech VMAX features a 5amp switch. The switch also is able to rotate 360 degrees so you will never get a stuck switch.

The Vmax is threaded for use with most 510 atomizers, cartomizers etc...

The VMAX uses 18350 batteries. "We suggest the use of the IMR 18350 batteries which are sold "separately."

I ask because I've seen more than a few posts in my relatively short time here where the problem turned out to be ICR (protected batteries) in one of the VV/VW mods.
