I've been wanting to try a bottom feeder system for quite a while. So I saw a Pre-BlackFriday deal here on ECF for 50% off and well.. I bought a VMOD 2.0. Before I really have any knowledge if these mods are any good.

So I ask, what are your thoughts about this system? Good? Bad? Any tips? What battery is best for this system?

Any help is appreciated so when this arrives, I will know what to do with it.

Thanks!

I have the slightly larger VMod-XL (18650 battery instead of a 14500 battery) and it's a nice little mod even at that size. Of course, these are bottom feeder box mods, and use only a dripping atomizer or cartomizer. I used mine a good amount of time when I first got mine. It had a slightl learning curve to the proper "squonk" method of feeding the atomizer. I preferred using the atomizer over the cartomizer; just personal preference.

I tend to switch flavors 3 - 4 times a day, so this is inconvenient to do with the built-in juice tank, hense I've ended up not using it much any longer. I prefer my other mods for their variable voltage and easy access to switch between different cartotanks or clearomizers.

If you use primarily just one flavor, you'll be good to go.

For batteries in your VMod 2.0, I suggest the AW 14500 IMR 600 mah battery. It's safe chemistry so doesn't require protection. The batteries that come from Vapage are not the highest quality.

I totally appreciate this! I did receive my VMod and I have been working with it. I do really like it, however the batteries are rather unimpressive. One battery works, the other battery that came with the kit.. Dead. Charges but doesn't fire.

I'm going to get the batteries you suggested. Can I still use the same charger that I got with the kit? Or should I get a better charger? The batteries that came with the kit are protected batteries, so maybe I get a better charger?

Thanks so much again!
