Vodka should evaporate pretty fast, but I'd recommend that you let them sit for a while to make sure they are dry.
When you get around to use them, put a drop or two directly on the atty, put an empty cart on it and draw---it might get warm but don't let it get hot.
You should get some vapor. Repeat this until vapor improves and then put on a cart that has liquid.
Basically, you are breaking it in again---my biggest grip about cleaning.

Man after cleaning out some of the original juice from some Atty's with Vodka the vapor production went WAY DOWN ?? :-x

I did do a final drying by turning on the atty on the battery but I drew on it while doing this ??

Did I screw them up that way ? 8-o

No matter what you use the atty should be dry before firing up. Don't know what kind of vodka you used but the recommended is the 151 or the everclear 191 proof since it dries faster and it is not flavored or colored - pure grain alcohol.

The other thing is that it has been mentioned by many here that after cleaning it takes some time for the atty to get up to speed and that's likely what's happening if you had at least the 151 proof.

After using the vodka I blow out the atty three ways - from the batt end, from the cart end and again from the cart end holding my finger over the hole in the center connector - this last way clears the intakes on the sides by the threads - blow and suck on that last try. Then let them dry - threads up, on a paper towel moving them occasionally until you see no more wetness. Then I put two drops of PG on the atomizer bridge area and either store it (I rotate atomizers weekly) or fire it up with a full cart and sometimes you have to huff it a bit like a pipe or cigar to kick start it. Even before the end of that cart it's back to normal.

Kent, and everybody else, why not just use 91% rubbing alcohol. Mush less water and way more volatile. I rarely clean atty's but when i do it with this stuff. Evaporates in minutes if not seconds. Like i said, i rarely clean or mess with atty's at all, but I got a small tupperware container of alcohol for emergencies. Just make sure it's 91%, not the normal 75%. Less water.

Thanks all !! , I dry them first by blowing them out both sides and wicking with a napkin before I heat them. ( I should try letting them sit longer ? )

I started with 91% ISO alcohol , then switched to 80 proof vodka ?? , maybe back to the 91% ISO ??

I will hit them hard with some drips ( 1 seems to be comming back ? ) these are NEW 4075's vs. my older MVPro I got with my 905. ( that one does NOT want to come back ?? )

PS: I have some 36mb tobacco from TastyVapors and the vapor production is LOW , I have some 24mg that I cut 5-10% with vodka nad it produces much more ?? any reasoning ??

The problem with rubbing alcohol is that it's very poisonous if inhaled and can cause serious health issues if it doesn't completely evaporate and you start inhaling the stuff.

Rubbing alcohol while good on almost any other device is not for human consumption - the safety sheet on it would scare you - it's around here somewhere... but it also can leave a film on the metal - that data is around here too - on exactly what the film is. Most who use it, will either wash with water after - I simply don't recommend either because of the drying time. If I could get 191 everclear (only available for commercial use here in Ohio) I'd use it, but the next best is Galen's 151 pure grain alcohol vodka, charcoal filtered, no coloring or flavoring and clear. $12 -just bought my second bottle since I started and no I don't drink it ;-) It gets really yellow when I soak my attys in it and I've only lost one atty in 6 months and that was from a dry burn gone wrong. A good red scorpion too, dammit! ;-)

I just dry puffed an atty that was not producing until it ran dry ( almost no vapor output ) then dripped 2 drops and it seemed to come back fairly well !!

I just put a cart on and it works pretty well.

Inhaled VS exhaled vapor ??

When I first got these new atty they produced VAST amounts of vapor ( bad flavor from the tobacco included but ) I would EXHALE a large amount of vapor , after cleanign and changing E-liquid the EXHALED vapor amount went way down ??

Is the EXHALED vapor a result of moisture content or ?? VG VS PG ??

Anybody know
