Hi I'm very new to this. I bought a volcano inferno pack because I was having back surgery and had no other way to get the nicotine. I can now go outside to smoke but have chosen not to go back to cigarettes. Is the e cig a good and long term way to stop smoking cigarettes? I got the menthol flavor and it's ok but what are some of the better flavors? I'd like to switch it up. After doing my own research I'm still confused on whether or not this is a safe alternative to cigarettes. Opinions? I was smoking up to a pack a day so I think any things better than that. Thanks.

We didn't do a ton of research before buying our first equipment & went based on the recommendation of some friends who vaped & they recommended Volcano. Our first batteries & juices came from there & we ended up placing a few subsequent orders with them.

We have tried Sweet Tart, Choconilla Haze, Red Hot Lava, Menthol Burst, Kona Coffee, Hawaiian Espresso, Grape Escape, & Cherry Lava (I think that's the name of it). Sweet Tart was ok & better than most I have tried but not something I would recommend. Menthol burst was not good at all, Grape Escape was very "blah" tasting & not very sweet, Cherry Lava was pretty good & the cinnamon flavoring that they use is one of the best I've tried. Hawaiian Expresso & Kona Coffee were horrid. Red Hot Lava was one of my GFs absolute favorite juices & I cannot stress enough how amazing Choconilla Haze is. We have gone through hundreds of different juices now & it is still one of my favorite, hands down. Just typing about it makes me crave a tank but we stopped ordering from them after a pretty bad customer service experience. I see that you live in Hawaii so they may be the only practical choice for you. I'm not trying to dissuade you by any means, only warn you. Since you probably have a Volcano store or vendor nearby then you will probably have much better luck face-to-face with them should you have any problems.

We quickly learned that the connector on their batteries is different than the popular eGo style that our local stores (and almost every online vendor) carry so when we used their batteries, we couldn't buy any accessories for them except through Volcano. This meant when we decided to give other tanks a try, they fit oddly on the batteries or not at all.

Honestly, I'd recommend buying your battery from somewhere else & go with something you can put a variety of gadgets on. Joyetech eGo is a perfect starter. Stick with Volcano for trying some of their juices. Even better, visit a couple of different local shops first & see what they all carry (usually Joyetech). That way when you decide to try, say the iClear 16 or 30 tank, then you know it will fit on your battery. If you go with Volcano then you'll be limited right off the bat.

As far as safety, a quick search on ECF will turn up a plethora of answers that will come from people much more knowledgable than myself at the "technical" side of it, but I will tell you that looking at the ingredients in cigarettes vs eliquids, you'll see a huge difference in that aspect alone.

I really hate sounding like such a Negative Nelly about Volcano but I'm only telling you what I wish we had known when we bought our first kits. If your only choice is to go with Volcano then by all means do it because they aren't a horrible place, we just realized that we could find much better products & customer service at our local stores & other online vendors (except for Choconilla Haze mmmmmmmm!). But again, if you can actually visit them in person then you might have a much better experience, just don't limit yourself to them right off the bat.
