I recently purchased a Blu Premium 100 starter kit, and I'm really liking it. The only problem is that one of the two included batteries was defective, so now I'm stuck waiting for Blu to replace it (they've been out of stock of these batteries for a month now). I'm now trying to find alternative batteries to supplement my one working Blu battery.

I know that Blu reverses the polarity of their batteries, which makes finding something that works in their PCC difficult. I've heard varying reports that Volcano Magma batteries will work in the Blu Premium 100 PCC (because they are made by the same factory). Does anyone here know if this is indeed true? Thanks for any help!

I know there are better alternatives to Blu, but I like their flavors, and their PCC is the best I've seen hands-down. I plan to get an Ego-C USB for home use (that works with Blu 100 cartos, right?), and just use the Blu 100s when I'm out.

I would just skip all the hassle and go sraight to an ego style system right away. Way longer battery life and a better hit. Blu uses Johnson Creek liquid, which you can buy in the bottle. The Johnson Creek Vea is an eGo style system if you want to make it easy on yourself.

Johnson Creek does make the Blu liquid- but they do not sell the liquid they put in the Blu. I learned that the hard way LOL. They are evil because the Blu still has some of my favorite tasting liquids I can't find comparable anywhere else. Their coffee, cherry, vanilla, peach snapps, and pina coloda are out of this world. I wish they would sell the liquid- but Blu has no intention in doing so as it will take away from their revenue.

SinPhul- I don't know if you can put a Blu Carto on an Ego, I believe they have different threading?

I appreciate the advice, and the Ego is definitely in my list of future purchases. But I really just like the portability of the Blu PCC when I'm out of the house, and I wouldn't mind the battery life so much if I had a second to fall back on when one is out (unfortunately due to the defective one, I don't have that option currently).

I just need to know if the Magma batts charge and fit in the Blu 100 PCC...tired of waiting for Blu to restock :)

Oh really? I thought they were both 510? I'm such a noob with all this terminology.

The Blu Carto's are 510 threaded and should work on an eGo without any issues last I recall. I had some from way back when that I gave to a buddy of mine (as I hate cartos) and he said they worked fine.
